“Something is very wrong”

I haven’t played in about a year and now I can’t seem to cast a spell over the 3rd level, it says something like, “Something is very wrong, your divine patron is silent, you can’t cast a spell over 3rd level, yadda yadda something about turning spells too”

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

It's the Time of Troubles and gods aren't granting spells above 3rd level anymore (except Helm). You're not doing anything wrong, this is part of a narrative event. You could consider it the server's metaplot this year.

You can still play your caster, just give it a shot and rp through it , might be fun, might be comic or grumbling frustrating. Could pose to gain rp from it, ie hire mercs etc

Depends on what deity you have.

I have a spellcaster and i don't run, i don'r hide behind alts eitehr.

I have a non magical alt, but i still mostly lay my spellcaster. I rp through it was Sell says. It's a challenge if you have to rely on the nin-magical things your character can do like feats and skills.

Also today is the last day when you can get a free 100% RCR on your characters. No level loss and if you make a mistake, you can just RCR again. So hurry up and don't hold back.

I’ll still be playing my druid anyway, just not as my main. I’ve been learning scottish gaelic on duolingo so it’s a good character to practice it on, I’m subbing in the gaelic to act as the secret druid language. Trying to put together some prayers now.

Like you guys pointed out, I’ll just need party members to do anything challenging. I need a little more practice before I can RP well with him though.

My grey orc will be getting most of the action lol

You can use the IG language tool to speak Druidic. That way, your fellow druids don't need to ask you to translate from Gaelic.

Somewhere between 2 and 4 more months, I think. We started just around the beginning of July, but the timetable from here is up to the DMs, mostly.

If they want in my druidic circle they will have to learn!! lol But honestly it’s mostly just for myself to help me learn. I didn’t even check if there was actually a druidic language in the language options, It’s all I use with my Orc but haven’t checked my options with my druid yet.

So this timeframe is taking place when the Companions of the hall were reincarnated in the Drizzt books, right?
