Jonathan looks fairly strong and athletic for a young man of his age. His past as the apprentice of a blacksmith and then as squire contributed to build his body. He has light brown eyes and blonde hair, his expression feels confident and at times overly so.
He is around 5'10" and that makes him not exceedingly tall but his physique still gives an imposing feeling mainly due his wide shoulders.
His hands show the signs of labour and manual work, and he is generally well groomed. He keeps decent care of his equipment and image as he was taught by his master.
Jonathan tends to be full of energy and confident to a fault, he is quick to anger when someone pushes the right buttons but he is a good hearted young man.
He values justice and knightly virtues but he sometimes struggles to understand why certain rules and traditions are to be followed and would question them or not follow them at all.
After losing those he relied on for his own growth, he decided to stop looking for someone to learn from. He is strongly independent spirit and will meet anyone trying to keep him under their wing with a defensive and rude behaviour.
He values strenght as a tool to defend others but due to his past and his young age he sometimes struggles dealing with the fact that he can't always be as strong as he needs to be.
Torm: Jonathan has been fairly close to Torm throughout his whole life, there was a time of great pain in which he almost fell into praising the Blackhand but he rose from that with the help of his former master Alexander, and Sister Ashenie. From that day he took Torm and the Triad as an inspiration although he knows he is far from being a good follower.
In general, he respects every deity fighting for the wellbeing of the innocent, goodly deities in general. He favours deities with a focus about helping the less fortunate and the downthrodden.
Brave: Jonathan is eager to fight when the situation demands it, he will not back away easily.
Altruistic: Despite his apparently detached and anaffective behaviour, Jonathan enjoys making others happy and seeing others smile. He might not show it but he cares for the fate of others and their wellbeing.
Determined: When setting a goal for himself it will be very difficult to dissuade him from pursuing it to completion.
Insecure: His tough exterior behaviour hides a profoundly insecure young man, he might react poorly when mocked or when his virtue or resolve are put into question.
Hot-tempered: Jonathan might get very angry very quickly depending on what other say or do, this side of him was often reprimanded by his former master and he is aware of it being an issue. Despite that, he is not always able to control this anger inside of him.
Impolite: Son of a blacksmith, raised in a simple and small town, Jonathan sees no meaning nor utility in formalities and polite exchanges.
