Alt Code Letters

Hello! I just RCR'd an old character named Valhøll. Unfortunately, I was unable to recreate the new character with the old name. For some reason, using Alt Code + Letters resulted in no text. So I remade the character and named him Valholl... but unfortunately, all of his equipment is on his horse.

Is this just my computer or Server wide?

Being norwegian, I have ø (and also æ and å) on my keyboard, so I can check if it's just denying alt codes or actually just denying the letters themselves. I'll let you know when I get a moment to test.
