new laptop help

hey everyone! hope everyone is doing awesome.

Got a new laptop, was going to try and run some bgtscc on it. havent downloaded much new for the game in a while.

1. Do I still need the client extension?
2. is there an up to date version I should get?
3. is it possible to log into my online profile on this laptop or do I have to get another game key or something?

im sure ill have more questions, thanks for any help

Hello!

1. It's recommended to use it and I don't see why you wouldn't want to (fixes some problems with base game).. But it's not mandatory, if you use direct connection AFAIK
2. Of the game? Extension? There weren't any patches for many years now..
3. Yes - if you use same CD keys, you will access same profile and characters I've been using two different computers with same profile and it works without issue.

Client Extension is still recommended. You can download the latest version from here: https://neverwintervault.org/project/nw ... -extension

No new game patches for years. 1.23 was the last one.

You can use same game keys and login.

Thanks yea I’m just forgetting where to put the file and all that. The new windows is messing me up too

If you have GOG version, then there is also tool for it in game folder named SerialTool.exe..
