Respawn rate under Wagon's Ho

The Golems (magma golem, brass golem, lava golem, etc) in the area under Wagon's Ho that has the triangular central pedestal respawn VERY quickly. Last time I went there I wasn't even done unlocking and de-trapping all the chests before they all spawned back in again. Could that spawn rate be dialed back a little?
