Monster hiding when damaged from a distance

Monsters trying to sneak up (batari in mines for instance), stay in hide mode though they are repeatedly damaged by arrows = sitting ducks. A script tweak perhaps that would make them go charging towards last attacker? Or try to run out sight and go hide again?
