Problems after longer break at set unused skillpoints right :(

Unread post by Dracko »

hey guys,

i´ve had a longer nwn2 break.
so after logging in i saw, that i have to redistribute some of my skillpoints.
i´ve tryed to invest 30 points on acrobatics ,1 In heal and 30 on athletics.
after doing so, i´ve recogniced, that spending 30 acrobatic points worked.
spending the 30 athletic points on the other hand didnt.
now i have 16 points in bluff instead of athletics... (maybe some issue with the reskillmenu, i dont know) :(
is there any chance, that an admin/gm can change that for me?
or maybe reset my skillpoints, so i can give it another try?

would be lovely :D

Hello, welcome back.

Script-based menus can be a bit slow, which can result in it failing to update your choices if you click too fast (this can generally be seen by the description not updating despite you clicking on the new option). This is likely what happened with you, you clicked on bluff first, then athletics right after that, but the menu didn't properly register that you had changed.

It should be noted since you mention having been on a break, that we had a 100% RCR period recently, and that is valid even if people weren't active during that time.

Please check the RCR tree, it will say if you have a 100% RCR or not. It should be noted though that if your break was longer than 2-3 years or so, you may need DM support as our ability to track character creation dates only goes back about that long.
