Magic Item Creation Changes?

Hello!

It's been a Dog's Age since i last hit the forum.

I have a question on what has changed for magic Item creation feats/skills/class trees.

Are we up to utilizing skills along with feats for magic item creation?

Are casters LOSING xp when they create magic items?

Just curious about the changes as their have been a lot of updates...

There has been no changes to magic item creation (though a crafting update is planned for within the next few months).

Edit: Oh, you can choose the CL for potions and scrolls, up to CL 15. That has been in for years now.
