Through the past moons, a knight garbed in crimson and carrying the emblems of the Ruby Rose order of knights has worked often and tirelessly, speaking with faiths who were affiliated with the now-ruined Halls of Inner Light. In the past week, remains of various shrines that had been worshipped by some in the city, are unpacked from storage, wrapped in weather-resistant canvas then warded, and sent on their way.

Dwarven stone masons begin arriving within the city from the northern fortress of Kraak Helzak, preparing the grounds of what was the Halls of Inner Light, instructed to reuse what they could of the old temple, and clear away what remained to begin building new foundations, new walls. Laborers are hired across the city to assist the masons with simple labor, and before long preparations are passed and construction is well on the way. The foundations are worked and prepared to make way for internal waterworks as before, though perhaps more broadly integrated than before.

On a calm evening in Baldur's Gate, Grobb Bearheart heard from passing sources and labourers that work on the temple of Sune had begun. He had been waiting for the news for some time, so when he heard the news, he rushed over to the site. Upon arrival, he offered whatever was necessary of him, whatever he could offer to help, his strength to lift heavy stone, his kindness to assist others, whatever it took. It was a matter of penance originally, to make amends for his actions against Doron Amar, but as time has passed, he had become determined to help with the project however he could. He knew the work would be long, but he would be there for as long as it took.

Among the Dwarven stone masons preparing the grounds of what was the Halls of Inner Light Bhor Stonecutter can be seen measuring and speaking with builders, workers and members of the temple. He with Dwarven workers are also seen at the Everwinter Estate.

Those who enter the Everwinter Estate as of recent would find themselves greeted by a work crew of dwarves from Kraak Helzak, representing Bhor Stonecutter, renovating the interior and exterior of the structure. A orchestra of hammering, hewing, chiseling, thunderous crashing, and shouting could be heard amidst a hectic yet scene of scaffolding lattices, tarps littered with refuse, falling debris, temporary wooden supports, and sweaty profanity laced dwarves hard at work. Many resident staff members including a mistral and a tavern “Captain” would find it necessary to seek temporary shelter elsewhere while their living quarters were being demolished for renovation.

After speaking with the priest of Chauntea and member of House Vale, Kervel Greencrest, Osric can be seen spending the winter visiting local farms and seeing if they have any interest in a particularly healthy stock of spinach and carrot seeds. He would inform them that Kervel procured the seeds and is offering them free of charge. The priest of Chauntea also offered his services in offering instruction and guidance on how to properly grow the seeds upon the proper season for such.

In recent winter days numerous notices starts to appear posted in areas of Baldur's Gate. Particulary in Outer city and other higher traffic rural areas. The papers are also put up within the city walls and Ulgoth's Beard. The bulk of papers are put up by older Priest of Chauntea, aided by a moonelf maiden and a stag-headed genasi of House Vale.

One are two local farmers have been reportedly seen approaching House Vale asking about a supply of free winter seeds. Before the day is out a small gathering of farmers prompted by word of mouth have made their way to the door of House Vale and cleaned them out of a source of seeds. Later here and there farmers can be seen making use of their fields and appropriate lands not yet winter frozen with some winter planting. Often assisted by Kervel a cleric of Chauntea.

One or two smug farmers were later seen in the city markets making some modest purchases perhaps on the back of spring promises. One or two prayers to Chauntea were observed.

The Heartwarder glances back to the city walls as she boards a wagon. Letting out a gentle sigh, she mutters "She was right in the end, even under the pain of war, they paid no price other then weakened allies. They'll never have the spine to do what is truly right, or sacrifice on behalf of others. I wish things could have turned out differently, and hope at least seeds of hope are planted for a new wave of inspiring beauty, hope, and love." She takes her seat in the wagon and it begins to depart to the east, to which lands is unclear.

Later that night, a disgruntled Silverstar leaves the Darius estate and single mindedly walks to the docks under the light of the waining moon, as she reaches an unoccupied pier, her knees seemingly gives out and let's out a shriek of incomprehensible pain before breaking down into tears for near a candle mark before finally heading back to the sword and stars and rests for the night.

On the eve of 4 Hammer, 1359, a large man with white hair that some would recognize as the Archdruid of the Green Enclave would be seen pulling a large, two wheeled cart. The smell of fish would emanate from the cart. The Archdruid would be accompanied by a woman with brunette hair that many would recognize as the High Ranger.

With the High Ranger's aid, the Archdruid's wrong turns in the city are kept to a minimum. They eventually come to the door of House Vale, where the cart full of roughly 200 fish is left. A note is left on the cart that reads, "To be distributed at the discretion of House Vale." The Archdruid steps inside the house, and leaves a note for Osric ((PM to be sent)). The Archdruid and High Ranger then exit the estate and the city.

Gala Itinerary

Arrival Festival

Guest are greeted with light refreshments, games, and a presentation of gifts for each Gala attendee from a Special Guest fond of distributing presents.

Crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Fabulous

Gala attendees will have the option of selecting (through popular vote*) their choice of a Mr. and Mrs. Fabulous. Candidates are selected from the pool of Gala attendees. Guests are asked to judge their choice of candidate not just by their fabulous wardrobe selection but also on the poise and grace exemplified by the candidate.

The Imitation Game

Upon entry each Gala attendee shall receive an alternative identity to role play during the course of the Gala; each role a flawed or tragic individual in their own right (e.g. Failed Architect, Greedy Philanthropist). These roles do not require costumes, though House Divine can provide accessories if guest wish to further improvise. Towards the close of the Gala guest will vote* on their choice of Best Imitator.

Talent Contest

While guests will find themselves regaled through the night by the Dueling Roses they are still nonetheless invited to take the stage and entertain the audience with their own Winter Themed ballad (rather song or poetry) or a stage act. Gala attendees will vote* on their choice of Best of Show from among each of the guest performers.

The Twist

You’ll just have to stay and find out.

* - House Divine members are exempt from voting or receiving votes. Gala attendees cannot vote for themselves.

A Selunite with a heavy Damaran accent can be spotted along the docks, wandering most of the day, she speaks to various captains, first mates, quartermasters, and navigators. She offers free service performing light repair duty to various ships, sail patching, assisting in re-rigging sails and mains, fishing net repairs, even swabbing a deck or two, only if in return that she might offer teachings of the stars and how to navigate by them, as they are the gifts of the Moonmaiden to find one's way at night along the sword coast, being its rocky cliff face it can be dangerous to sail at night and find oneself against the rocky cliffs. She aids in teaching them about the North star, and how to orientate to it, using it as a guide to safely sail the night. She educates about the various constellations of stars in the sky and how to navigate by them depending on the season for the most accuracy. If any mention Umberlee she concedes that some worship out of fear, and give freely what She is due lest She take everything including one's life for lack of donation. She simply adds on that Selune offers protection to sailors and guides them, should the jealous and greedy eye of Umberlee not be sated with their offerings, and casts them out away from the known to the unknown.

Bhor Stonecutter goes through the Basilisk Gate to Baldurs Gate. He stays for a long time in the square enjoying the view. He then walks around to look at the different districts and buildings, seeking inspiration for his building projects.

At house Vale, dinner and a meeting take place between Waterdaivian artists and members of the church of Sune. Initially intense, things quickly escalate out of control and lead to one of the artists departing the property. From there, discussions carry forward about interior design, planning, and artistic pieces over food catered to by miss Sayushi Furuki and house Vale's quartermaster, Teris.

The party would depart in the early morning hours to the site of the new empty temple, where the Halls of Inner Light once stood. Their quiet conversation continued about the building's history, as well as plans for the future, the meeting concluding with kind exchanges of good wishes and the onset of a plan.

Later still, a conversation was held in the Vale estate regarding securing a ready supply of dyes for the re-emergent sunites.

For the past few days, a woman in white has been spotted walking among the streets of Baldur's Gate. For some locals, her walks through the misty streets might cause one to mistake her as a ghost. She was last seen in the Outer City, where she was one of a handful of witnesses to an attack on a Selunite by a mysterious peasant who was insistent on murdering them. The woman in white stood back and watched as the peasant was quickly cut down by those closest to the situation, the peasant soon turning to dust. Her expression was emotionless, but her eyes kept watch of how they handled the deceased. After offering parting words to the deceased in a language from distant lands, she conversed briefly with a former Thayan before departing, like a wandering spirit drifting through the night.

Over the past tendays, a redheaded girl once seen loitering around the crossroads in the Outer City seems to have moved inward, to the rooftops and walkways above the streets of Baldur's Gate. Though on clearer days she might be seen wandering around or sitting around busier or more scenic positions, the frequent snowfalls tend to drive her to take partial shelter under one specific rooftop in the Steeps. Either way, if she's not on her feet, she tends to dangle them, bored but otherwise seemingly carefree, off the edge of whatever perch she's found for herself. As for her attention, it seems to wander at random between the sky above and the bustle of the city below.

Occasionally, though, she does descend into the streets below for more than just food, drink, and sleep. Her movements at such times are hard to keep up with - both because of their habitual verticality and because of her skill at blending in when she wants to - but they seem loosely confined to the seedier districts of the Lower City, for reasons not yet known...
