Rumour has it yet another city robbery occurred in the city famed for it's law and order, well apart form the occasional devil and dragon incursion. The house of a ship foreman Frand Fellman, well known in the docks as a dedicated worker was broken into. It appears Frand returned after another 16 hours of honest toil and disturbed the thief or thieves and later he was found dead within the sanctity of his own hard earned home. It seems uncertain quite how he died but dead he was. The honest ship makers Guild has demanded action. The response from the Dukes office to a growing number of crimes was a crackdown was on it's way. Let no one be in doubt it is the Dukes run this city.
In the dark hours of the night, when only the sounds of footsteps and alley cats could be heard, a man was following a woman in the dark and more shadiest of places within the city.
"If we get mugged tis your fault"
"If we do it is."
"We look like were snoopin around..people tend to go missing when they snoop around"
"We are snooping around."
"Saw something?"
"I think we should get out of here.."
"Coming from you, that's probably wise."
Sometimes, intuition is the best survival tool a person can have. That "bumping" sense of trouble, that mysterious feeling out of nowhere that simply gives you the urge to turn in another direction. But is it truly what we call intuition? Or is it simply from one of many experiences in a persons life? Who knows. But this very night, such the feeling probably saved two individuals from a fatal end.

Those passing by farmland nearby Wyrm's Crossing could see a flash of pure and white light coming from the fields nearby the shore of river Chiontar at sunset. Those with sharp eyes would have made out four silhouette on the fields, but only one standing afterwards the positive burst of light. After this local priest of Chauntea, caring for the shrine nearby, would be dragging what appears skeletal corpses out of the field, taking notes of the corpses before finding a city watchmen by the bridge. The pair was seen at the edge of the field, clearly the priest teling to the guard what had transpired. Once done the old man was seen burying the remains with proper rites. Any visiting the field would see soil clearly worked, although in random spots, and a feel a sensation of postivity in the site for some hours after the scene.

The hour was early indeed as Kervel made his way to podium in the heart of The Wide. Carrying what appears a banner of his goddess, he addresses the City Watch Guard in front of the podium. After a brief conversation the man raises up on the platfrom, muttering a bright light spell and holding his banner high. Soon the early bird common people buzzling and setting up in the early hours, just before dawn, start to emerge from still dark and rainy disctrict. The old priest waits patiently, smiling warmly to those gathered and urging them foward to listen. Once the crowd was gathered enough he took a deep breath and addresses those gathered with open arms.

As the days finally begin to grow longer and warmer with the starts of spring, a certain Priest of The Grain Goddess can be spotted in the public garden areas within Baldur's Gate by daytime. Kervel carries with him a sack of fertile compost soil and a bucket of water. Once he arrives to the site the priest sets aside the sack and bucket. He makes a efficient and inspectious walk around the grounds and locates a suitable spot in the garden where he dugs a hole in the soil. There he plants a seed of a Rose Shrub. Brought from his family homestead in Daggerford and stratificated during winter cold. He carefully covers the hole with the soil he brought and then ceremonially waters the spot, while praying out loud casting his blessing on the water and the grounds.
Chauntea
I ask you to bestow your blessing of growth and reap upon this garden. Let people of this city see the beauty and bounty of your gift, so that they can appreciate and enjoy it. Let this garden blossom and bathe in the grace of your life. Bless these seeds and roots to bring a sight that ease the most troubled minds and fruit that fills the hungriest bodies.
Kervel repeats this same process over suitable areas of Eastway, Heapside, The Wide, Temple and Seaward District. Only expections being the Manoborn District, where he plants these Rose Shrubs in soilbeds of House Vale Estate. Outside the city four of these Rose Shrubs are planted at Kervels beloved Shrine by Wyrm's Crossing. For every occasion a older cattle dog sit nearby the man, happily tagging along with him. Should any passer by ask, Kervel would gladly tell of his doings and repeat this for anyone on request. Although he notes he will be unusual sight inside the city from now on and can be found in rural areas of Baldur's Gate as the spring and summer progress.
After a rough start to the morning, flyers go out through the City, into every ward and warf. They are carried and posted by the Selunite in armor, recognizable by her cloak and etched breastplate bearing the symbol of the Lady of Silver.
To my Brothers and Sisters in faith of the Moonmaiden,
I call you to the Shrine of Suffering for refuge as once again unseen assassins target another of our Sister in faith. The body you hear about, the one that was found in front of the Elfsong, was a young woman named Tana. We are under attack, by the oldest of enemies, and so I ask you to join me in the Shrine of Suffering with you and your families, to be watched over and protected under my watch, and the keen eyes of Mercy's Blade Nathan Goldenmane. I will do my utmost to protect you there, for hopefully no more then a fortnight.
To the family of Tana, I pray your forgiveness in my inability to protect her. It is my duty and calling to shepherd and protect the faithful, and in this I have failed you, and you have lost a daughter, a mother, and a dear sister. If you seek comfort I will provide it, if you seek anger, I will be the ear that hears it. Know that Tana is now in the warm and loving embrace of Selune, at the gates of the moon, and has found peace. I've placed her body in a grave in the Graveyard, and marked it with stones in her name, if you seek to morn her.
Moonlight guard your paths,

Immediately after his departure from Baldur's Bibliotheca, its assistant librarian, the Waterdhavian transmuter Vilmar Dall, could be seen heading into the city. Before the dawn, the half-elf would have arrived at the Everwinter Estate, leaving a sealed letter marked with his arcane sigil and the name "Mathilde" neatly written on the envelope.
He would not wait for its recipient to wake up, and would instead teleport out of the city immediately upon handing the letter off to whomever would deliver it (or leaving it in a suitably visible location, if need be).

As spring begins to progress and farmers starts to plow their fields and sowing of seeds slowly begins in the rural areas around Baldur's Gate; a graying priest of Chauntea is a regular sight amongst these people and fields. He eagerly talks to them and lends his helping hand, advice and prayer where ever it is wanted and needed. After busy day of activity the same priest can be solemnly seen on or besides these same fields. There he offers prayer and blessing with according procedures on the freshly worked land as the sun slowly sets behind the horrizon.
Chauntea
Hear my prayer and cast your blessing upon these soils worked and shaped to grow your bounty. Show your favor to those that bring your gifts to this world from your seeds. Ensure a successful season that leads to strong and plentiful harvest. Cast your protection over these fields from blight, pest and disease. Let people taste and see what you can provide to them. Let the Great Cycle of Life slowly turn once again and may the appreciation for the reap of it belong to you.
Afterwards these duties of his faith, Kervel would rest and begin anew in the morning after regular tending of his goddess shrine.

Through the streets of the Gate, a priestess in red and gold can be seen walking with a basket in the crook of her arm and a map in her hand. She wanders the streets with purpose, stopping by specific flower beds to tend to. She hums softly as she kneels next to the growing rose bushes. Taking some pruning shears out of her basket, she prunes the bushes carefully of excess growth or dead and sickened limbs. She then cleans up the bed of debris before kneeling in prayer.
"Dearest Sune, please allow your blessings to be bestowed upon Kervel's roses. May your love and light allow them to grow and bloom so that their radiance may bring beauty to this beloved city."
With that, the priestess would stand and check her map of the city again, before starting off towards the next bed of planted roses.
A masked rogue stumbled briefly in the dim light of a struggling lamp was soon swept back into the dark by an armed and nimble guardsman. In the shadows of an alley a pair of blows sounded followed by the cut off cry of a wounded man.
The lamp soon witnessed the rogue being carried towards the harbor district, his blonde captor still brandishing a tarnished silver blade.

A platinum haired pair, a male aasimar and a female half-elf, could be spotted spending time with the regular patrons of the Blade and Stars during the prime evening hours in one of the early days of Tarsakh. The man was sociable and made a good impression, the woman quieter and less remembered. A similar visit was made to the Elfsong later that same night.
In the predawn hours, the Moon Knight consecrates a fountain area in the city and blesses the spot under the light of Selune.
"Ta ye, Lady o' Silver, let where your light reach be blessed 'n sanctified against da darkness o' da night. May your gentle radiance be a boon 'n grace dose o' ye faithful. Guide me 'and ta protect me brothers 'n sisters 'n faith, Comfort dem in da dark, 'n give dem warm embrace under ye light. Let all whom seek da light be welcome in yer grace. May ye bless dem 'n keep dem, may ye shine upon dem, and give dem peace."

As Nadine stepped through the doors of the Sune temple in the Manorborn District, she could hardly believe her eyes. A place that had once been ruins has now been rebuilt piece by piece. The walls stretched up high, the sound of falling water echoing through the softly lit temple. The priestess took in the inviting atmosphere as she went from room to room, each one exhibiting the best of Sune's dogma. The rooms eventually led to an orchard and inner garden, where she took the time to travel the maze surrounded by natural beauty. The maze led to a structure in the center used for divination, water cascading down at all sides like a curtain. Nadine stood there in awe of it all, her eyes filling with tears of joy. It was more than she could ever hope for.
She took some time in the garden to thank Sune and ask for for her blessings and guidance with what new opportunities lie ahead with this new temple. After her prayers, she wrote letters and sent them off to all parties involved in the planning and construction of the temple. For those she could not contact, she posted the letter outside the temple as it reads:
My friends,
I wanted to sincerely thank you for all your hard work in the construction of Sune's temple. I thank you for your love and dedication to this project. Your efforts truly shine through in the masterwork of this place. I am honored to call this place a temple of Sune. Bhor Stonecutter and his laborers, Grobb Bearheart, the artists of Waterdeep, Lord Vale and members of his House, Yashe, the workers who I did not have the privelege of meeting face to face, and any others whom I may not have mentioned but were vital to this success, I truly thank you. Please do come by the temple sometime and experience the fruits of your labors. If you are in need of cleansing, clothing, guidance or consultation, or even just a place to feel at peace and comfort, please do not hesitate to come here and feel the warm embrace of the halls and gardens. I will be here as well to welcome you with open arms.
Kervel appears within the city. He takes his time to walk through the districts and adds notices on all noticeboards he can find. When he is done in the city then he leaves a good number of same notices on the outer gates and busiest sections of the farmlands.
Good people of Baldur's Gate!
You are most welcome to visit a newly built shrine of Chauntea close by this great city. Shrine is open to all that wish to pray or honor The Grain Goddess with pure intentions. Just follow the path leading towards Ulgoth's Beard along Chiontar west until you come upon another path that goes up towards the northern hills. Follow that path and you are soon there! We offer what aid we have to those needing seeds, farming tools, or advice in farming.
If you beloved pet or animal requires care or treatment, then bring them with you. Greencrest Animal Care will take care of them. No payment is needed, but a donation for the shrine and faith is appreciated.
Chauntea bless you with warmth, growth and days full of live.
Kervel Greencrest,
Priest of Chauntea
Speaker of House Vale
Many descriptions are applied to the foreign-faced man with a particular puffy hat—cleric, priest, monk—as the Magistrati Arthayer Zorastryl embarks upon his wanderings within the Eastway District, and the common people of the Gate view his meandering pace, perhaps giving it thought, perhaps not. The Magistrati has been for some weeks but one being among vast open fields, dense forest, bare mountains and long roads—both paved and not—alone. Now, he is but one of thousands, but whether he blends into this urban landscape with his elevated height, is only slightly to his concern.
The once monastic man has no pressing agenda in mind, except to breath in the semi-salted sea air that lightly wisps from the west, and, to take his feet to the absolute last step westward, for as yet, this man cannot walk upon the water....
