There's a red map point indicating sewers, but there are (no longer?) a sewer entrance. Not at this spot at least.

Just reporting 2 things in the Temple of Tymora.

1. In the Yellow Circle, the dice game doesnt work. Assuming it was to work like the one in the gambling are in the Friendly Arms Inn.

2. In the Red Circle, theres that awful voice looping "Not on your life" "Not on your life" "Not on your life" "Not on your life" "Not on your life"

Requesting to have the Dice game work like the one in the Friendly Arms, and to purge that voice looping and sent it to the abyss! :lol:

Eastway

There's a chair floating in the air on the terrace outside of Elfsong. The chairs also assume you are sitting on an armed chair and the character arms are resting on invisible armrests.

Still very much enjoying a slow exploration of the revamped BG city maps.

Two things:

1. There is a transition point from Eastway to Heapside that sits underneath the “N” symbol of the IG map gui. You’d only know it’s there if you stumble on it. Maybe it can be moved lower or to left/right!

2. The city REALLY needs more NPCs walking around, or doing daily chores, or just standing there. Is this technically possible to increase population without slowing the Server? For such a large city (now, in maps and map size) there are very, very little people. And it kinda gives off a ghost town vibe. We don’t want ghosttown vibe!!

Considering how many mobs one can see on other maps at one time, what is the limit for BG city maps?

Hello there,

There will be work on the non player characters, and it's already planned,

But it requires a lot of time, and the emergency was first to have other issues corrected. This will come. The idea is to develop non player characters with some kind of behaviors, so it feels more lively than non player characters just walking around. They will also be tailored after the ambiance of each district.

Baldur's Gate, The Iron Throne Headquarters

The door is locked from the inside (so you can't get out without means of teleporting or DM help) and the DC is high enough to not be opened by just anyone.

Since I had just come in (the door outside at Steeps is not locked), the doorway was black aka open but I could not go through. It was still locked. I tried using the door and nothing happened. I tried bashing it and nothing happened other than my char taking the attack pose and then stop it in a bit. When you close the door you can see the lock sign come up on hover.

Tested it again with a PC and even though they were able to beat the DC, the door was impossible to unlock.

The yellow area is not walkable, if this is meant as a sewer entry as indicated by the doors that appear interactable.

To add to this, I went to muck around with this interior door, also got stuck. The DC was 72 to unlock it, so I smashed the door instead, then clicked "use" on the entryway and managed to escape. But then Blackhorizon went back to test and couldn't get out using the same trick, soooo I went back in, managed to beat the unlock DC but it still gave me the "success not possible" message, and we had to teleport out.

Whats will ppl locking themselves in? This some new trend? Had to save a new player cause she was locked in the Blade and Stars LOL :lol: Gate people I swear!

Issue about Ragefast the Sage...something that has bothered me for YEARS(!!), and maybe, together, we can set things straight! :pray:

Currently, this is Ragefast:

And here is the description of Ragefast from Volo's Guide...:

So firstly, he is described as small, frail and bearded, where the existing Ragefast is tall, tattoed and bald-fugly. Lol, the NPC seriously is.

But the worst part of it all, is the dialogue, and especially the Quest. His lack of...morality...from the dialogue offered with the Quest is NOT befitting his Neutral Good alignment. It actually hints to a more Neutral Evil, imho.

So, I may not be able to do anything with the NPC appearance, but I CAN do something with the dialogue. If I am allowed, I can rewrite it to be more within this NPC's alignment, as well, when one asks for the "Who are you?" and makes the DC, one won't get such a completely WRONG impression of the Man!!!

Lol. Sooooo wrong!

Obviously, I expect it will have to be approved by the upper ups, but if this is desired, I'd be happy to make it happen (at least on my end). Cheers.
