Stoneroot Removed

Just curious if stoneroot as been completely removed? This plant was found in a few places that I know of myself with differing skill rolls to collect, Reaching Wood had it, the Reaching Wood Pools had it, one resided in the Wyverns though a different roll, I thought some resided in another area but it seems they either were and have been reduced to stoneskin or just are the same and my memory does not serve me correctly. This was in the Stone Giant area.

If not are they just in another area entirely then? I found this plant to be helpful for many a folk across and it offered people without casting/UMD availability to the protection and gave natural sorts of folk something to collect. I understand there are changes to herbs/plants etc and some things now but why remove those? I did not find them to harm anyone, they were not overpowered by any means as you are capped at your collected of them per reset which was completely fine. Why not just add the other plants around those.

Any aid of clarity in this?

Hello there,

Stoneroot still "exists" under the label "Stonewort". The effect are still there, but they require a preparation to fall in line with other herbs. (They can't just be used raw). This is not really a design to "punish" or make herbs less potent, this is at the contrary a design to expand, and tailor them after all the lore sources we were able to find.

There are no new entries to my knowledge, and I wasn't able to find entries for the previous sets of herbs.

You can however find the starting information here, and I hope you will have fun in discovering all these small additions. While it's not perfect... it might be a first step.
