I'd recently spoken to him, and he remains firmly in my thoughts. Deepest of condolences.

Can't express enough condolences for T99Ts passing. Truly admired the healthy spirit he brought to the BG community and ensuring everyone felt welcome weather or naught he personally knew you as a player. Really hard to appreciate such things until they're gone. He's certainly going to be missed.

It feels almost surreal to think about not having T99T's presence anymore. I've RPed with him almost every day for months now, he was beyond fantastic. He was a real gem. BG, both ICly and OOCly, just won't be the same.

I wish I had more words to share, but honestly I feel kinda heart-broken and I can't think of anything decent.

Rest in peace T99T, I'll miss you a lot.

It's hard to accept that Kargas's player is gone. He was so intelligent, imaginative and full of life. Wish I spent more quality time with him in game. I'll call him a friend-- which is just as binding as any out of game friendships I have neglected over the years. Tons of questions. Are Kargas's RL affairs in order? Did he have any dependents? Any debts? Does his family need aid? Should a gofundme be started? I would like to see a master list of all of Kargas's most famous Characters. An in game funeral should be done one way or the other and I will be there for it. Tristam Arazain, Richard Caine, Ertguth Vyrnul, Olivine Mendt, Huarwar Garkin (and many others). [email protected]

I never got to do much with him, but he was inclusive and helpful.

Deepest condolences to the family. No matter how painful it is to lose a loved one, don't stop thinking of them. Keep them alive with good memories.

This is incredibly sad to hear, Kargas was an amazing RPer and was just an overall great guy to talk to IC and OOC. His presence will be missed in game and outside of it.

My deepest prayers to his mind and spirit as he passes on.

I am really sad and it's hard to hear about this. I shared many fond memories with him. The past Rp I had with him came at a very dark time in my personal life and it mattered a lot to me. He will be Missed very much so.
My condolences to his family and all those that considered him a friend.

I truly appreciate you calling my brother a friend. This makes me incredibly happy to see he had a strong community around him. He was a great person in RL. I watched him play NWN and Baulder's Gate when we lived together 20 years ago. I learned about Evil and chaotic evil, neutral chaotic. I could never really understand it, but he loved it and loved listening. It sounds like he had some great characters.

His affairs are in order. No aid needed, but that is a very kind thought. Thank you.

I would like to know what he looks like IRL? No need for embarrassment, I'm a 40 something fat Caucasian guy. I hope we can put a statue of him up somewhere. An active leader for over 10 years probably, he deserves it. Suggest his combat items go with him to the grave, but someone should go through his stuff and see if there is anything sentimental. Books, trinkets, written works, etc. Things to be archived. Let me know if you want help.

Just a week ago I ran a silly event where a gruff dwarf was buying items Kargas was selling at the Friendly Arms Inn. He was a fantastic roleplayer and will be dearly missed :(

I will keep him in my prayers.

When I got home, I turned on my phone and seen the nine discord notification. I opened up the first one and it was then I was in disbelief. The words "Kargas passed away in RL". Kargas was a player character that rp'd out of the Black Abby, he was also the BGTSCC Community member known as T99T. And Kargas was one of my frequent patrons in the Broken Goblet tavern set in Roaringshore. A long time patron. He and I had many in character conversations as well as out of game conversations. We joked, we laughed we brain stormed. Like myself, he believed in promoting rp around the server. During the servers Time of Troubles Events, he and I had utilizes another player to run a messenger server. Since a "Sending" spell could not be trusted role play wise. We both agreed it was a good ideal to help a new player get around to quickly meet other players. Also it was rp promoted. His character Kargas did play an Evil aligned based character but he himself was one of the coolest and funniest players I've ever met. It was just a few days ago we talked in helping him grind his character back to level 30. I wont claim that I was his best or closest friend, but I will claim it was a damn honor knowing and playing with him. BGTSCC just lost another heavily active and rp promoting player, that I will claim without a doubt. We both had goals, we both had plots, to bring more activity around the server and try to make things fun for every body. That was the kind of man he "is".

Image

The loss bothers me emotionally. I don't even like losing a single person in our BGTSCC community, what more losing one forever. I know not what happen, nor does it matter to me. That fact his, he will never walk into my Broken Goblet, nor will ever get to share talks or have rp sessions with him ever again.

Image

My condolences to his family if they are reading. He was a good man and he was important to some players here in this server. He will truly be missed by the ones that knew him well.

Image

Lastly I humbly request for the server to make the Character Kargas Armane into an NPC in remembrance for his dedicated time and efforts or a memorial plaque or statue with his name someplace within Soubar.

My condolences.

I only very recently interacted with his character Kargas as our characters are a world apart but it was very entertaining. While it was a one time adventure, it showed the talent and inclusiveness. We also exchanged a few words out of character and he seemed like a very nice and polite fellow.

With a poem I have used with my character in game on such occcasions I bid T99T farewell. May you rest in peace and your memory live on.

Like a shadow in the moonlight,
whispers in the wind,
the echoes of a melody just beyong our reach.

In the shadow of our sorrow,
past the whispers of goodbye,
the journey to the beyond has only just begun.

Fare thee well,
it is time to move on.
Go with our blessings,
the memory will remain.

The time has come to let go,
to let the spirit fly,
to find the unseen road and leave the world behind.

The hourglass is spent,
this is the final goodbye.

This isn't the first loss I've borne witness to in my time online, or even in this community... but I don't doubt for a moment that it's the one that's hurt the most. The one I've been the most familiar with.

The North is diminished by his passing.
