Katli stands at her balcony, overlooking the Docks from Eastway, putting quill to partchment, a neatly organized spatering of ink to write out her thoughts, in pursuit of organizing them.

I feel things here are worse then the House of the Moon knew, and perhaps even the light of Selune has not illuminated all of the perils of this great trade house of a city. Shortly upon my return, I ran into friendly faces of the Moonmaiden, Shandril and Maevyn, two dedicated and faithful of the Lady of Silver. Maevyn had great plans for a shrine in Ulgoth's Beard. although it seemed as if the village was built on the wrong side of the river for a lovely view upon her rising after dusk. Now her focus seems upon Triel's reconstruction, and the shrine is but a memory. Shandril has a shrine on her property that is simple and elegant. It serves it purpose well enough, but remote from the city that no sailor would seek to travel there for Her blessings. The Sea Bitch has a temple within Baulder's Gate, and all the sailors and captians pay her homage, despite her greater faithful pirates of Roaring Shore are just getting started upon a new sea conquest as they vye over the next High Captian. There is oppertunity there, but it is slow progress, for now I focus on building trust, performing simple tasks next to them, giving some respite, and then offering education about the stars and how to navigate by them.

All of this does not even speak of the dangers of the Dark Twin that infest the streets, along with meeting the faithful, there were attacks by machinations of what could only be determined to be agents of the Dark Lady. Some spirit that manifested itself in the presence of the devout of She Who Guides, and attacks them mercelessly with a battlecry and untold strength to squeeze the life out of them. Attempts to find the origin of the attacks has lead to a district of the Gate, but we have lost the leads for now, and the trail grew cold. Those I was counting on to aid, find themselves tied up in war far south across the border of Amn, fighting an army of the Frost Maiden, and so I look for new and fresh eyes with concern for the city's spritual wellbeing. One I have found seems surprised at the ask and offering of gentle kindness. What wrath of evil plagues the hearts of those of the Gate? Has such toils and troubles truely hardend the hearts of even the kindest of souls?

My mission to wax the faith of Selune within Baulder's Gate seems neigh impossible given what I have experenced so far, but I will not be persuaded until such a vision calls me away from the City, or I am asked by my fellow faithful and friends to aid them in other endevors. I will remain vanguard over the city, even when others are distracted by other such occurrances. Like that of the banners of the Mistress of Pain over a child's tomb. I cannot find myself distracted and pulled away just yet. Ears perked, eyes open, and the light of truth brough before me, honor upon my lips to speak truth to all who would hear it. I may faulter in my tasks, but I will not fail them to the best of my abilities. I will follow the word of She Who Guides to wherever she shall lead. I am her servent until my final breath, and she calls me home to the Gates of the Moon.
