I enjoyed doing that as well and totally did the nerdy giggle at each spell identification.

The movie was fun to watch and I do hope that they'll make more of them in the future.

I think it was pretty decent, considering how terrible the previous D&D movie attempts have been.

Obviously theres a lot of easter eggs and references for people so well versed in the lore as many here are, but I think the fact its relatively enjoyable for non D&D players too, is its biggest plus.

Certainly worth the cinema money and im glad they didnt waste the opportunity and burried D&D on the big screen for another decade with a flop. More to come one can hope.

I know what you mean Lock, I generally dont appreciate movies and shows that are a bit over the top in terms of humor. But I find its almost a necessity for this particular setting, fantasy that takes itself too serious often fails. So the lighter narrative with a humorous vibe led by Chris Pine charismatic bardic style, is right up my alley.

Maybe im just biased. Bards ftw!
