Psychological description:
"See. All this zealousness, towards a greater something, - leads where? To destruction. Freedom is neither good, nor evil, it just -is-. Until someone decides to captivate it, bind it, kill it. For whatever goal they wish to achieve."
The dichotomy is ever prevalent: which of her two feet to stand on? Which direction to follow? Piir would, with some naïvety, claim to simply follow her own way, all the while the realization of the loneliness this brings is increasingly present. She has indeed learned to get by on her own, finding her way through forests and open lands with ease, whereas the political landscape, and the wills of others, tug at her, leave her confused and at times disillusioned.
A curious mind, easily mesmerized, leads her to swiftly disregard consequences and waft away her disillusionment: an inherent fascination with new experiences and an inclination towards discovery leads her to the faint perception that these little moments of transient bliss whisper only parts of the story: that there must be more to the world - perhaps something of real value - something beyond material possessions, beyond the staccato moments of fleeting joy?

Religious views:
Piir retreats to the forests seeking solace and guidance, while her reveries bring nothing but all too vivid images of recent events. She follows no deity, and with stubborn disregard she attributes it to her independence, while in reality she is longing to find something of lasting value. As it has failed her thus far, she conveniently convinces herself that following a god is simply an elevated way in which individual freedom can be restricted. The duality of her conflicted mind is present even here.

Family
The community Piir grew up in was tightly knit and her upbringing formed by calm and structure, despite her constant inability to remain within that framework. Her family would provide for themselves, taking part in community life, living their lives in a balanced fashion, and expect the same of Piir and her two older siblings. While her siblings, in Piir's eyes, seemed to easily fall into the expected roles, she would look to them with intertwined envy, fascination and slight incomprehension. Ever since a young age, she would neglect expectations not by ill-will, but by the fluctuating whims of an easily influenced mind. She would find little treasures of joy everywhere, forgetting time and obligations, and usually return with something other than expected. Met by shrugs, gentle reprimands or laughter, she would find little incentive to change these ways and with time, it came to serve her as a means of adaptability, physically and mentally, to a world of transcience and power struggles.
