Suggestion: Expand Whirling Dervish Skill Focus Selection

I was leveling a character tonight, and noticed that several skills are missing from the Whirling Dervish's Skill Focus bonus feat options.

TL;DR:
Whirling Dervish is missing the below Skill Focus options during picks for their Bonus Feat selections. Additionally Whirling Dervish gets only about 1/3 the options for Skill Focus on a regular Feat pick.

Additionally I noticed that the Skill Focus options for Whirling Dervish options on a regular Feat usage for Skill Focus is even more limited than during one of their Bonus Feat picks.

Something strange is definitely going on with Whirling Dervish, possibly the whole Skill Focus feat selection logic in general.

To my knowledge, there are only 4 Epic Skill Focus feats:
Per the wiki, these skills are Heal, Diplomacy, Intimidate and Survival.

Therefore, any other skills are lacking epic skill focus.
I will attempt to verify based on the feat.2da, but anyone else with knowledge and access could also validate.

While it is not by-rule mandatory, I am still a proponent that Epic Skill Focus(x) should have Skill Focus(x) as a prerequisite; as would be logical with most other examples of Epic [x] Focus feat advancement.

I am completely on board with not all skills needing or even having the option of Epic Skill Focus.
All skills should, however, have the regular Skill Focus in my opinion.
Hadn't even considered Epic Skills for this though, so good catch.

If you are able to get the list (or lists?), I'm happy to add them all to the original post.

Aah, I see I misread the initial post.

I can assure you that Skill Focus (Craft, Food-Preparation) has existed since last year


You may need to check the names slightly, as longer craft skills may be tweaked shorter.

I found the issue.

At levels 2 and 7 the Whirling Dervish PrC gets 3 x Skill Focus Bonus Feats. The list they get to choose from does not include all the Skill Focus options.

Since I was picking Skill Focus feats through the Whirling Dervish PrC, and not on regular levels (why would I when the PrC gives them freely?), I didn't get all the options.

I'll change the topic and initial post to reflect this.

Any developers able to shed some light on whether or not the limited Skill Focus selection is intentionally limited (both for Bonus Feats and Regular Feat), or a bug/oversight?

Feat lists are not dynamically populated. Every single class maintains its own feat list, and every single feat has to be manually added. Therefore, when new feats are added to the game, they are not automatically added to any class's list. In this case, all of the missing ones are for new feats.

In short, no, it's not intended that it is limited, but adding them to the list is pretty low priority.

I'll follow SummerBreeze's advice then, and ask a DM to swap the feats around at some point, since they're meant to be available, but wasn't.
