Underdark... my love!

Hello.

Some of you can know me, i'm playing on BGTSCC since a few months, making a ton of chars sadly ( )... but most of them (more than half) are or were drows. Dark elves are my favourite race, less for their psichology and their society and mindset than for any other reason.

Other than this UD maps are really good, Sshamath is creepily wonderful, and i thik is a shame to see so few players there around. From my LITTLE experience, playing a drow or a duergar even from the 1st level is hard but not that difficult after all... only slow.
But i believe the survivability of the UD is pretty decent, with enough CR 1 areas around (one even below the Inn!!!!!). The only serious issues to survival i've felt were with wizards and sorcerer chars, others are really simple to make grow in experience levels.

As a DM said to me some time agoo, i'd want too to see more dedicated players for the Underdark, because FOR ME is not an hardcore place, even wandering SOLO...

Sorry for this little digression, but i really needed to write this about a place really good made and with so tremendous potential.

I really been meaning to play a drow, but my pc is far too involved top side. I've started BG since 2009 and I've yet to fully explore the UD at its fullest. Originally I'm a drow fan, the only reason back then I didnt make one because the server was still about on year old at the time, there was no transitions between the surface and UD, there was no Upperdark, and the population for UD was far lower than the surface population during my time zone. And back then the server was capped at 80/80 with dozens in que waiting to get into the server.

I personally would probably jump at UD Rp if the governing somehow changed. The Whole Mage Ruling thing threw me off from what Im use too. I wanted to see Matron Mothers with snake whips punishing any that spoke blasphemy of the Spider Queen etc. The standard drow society if you get my meanin.
