Hey folks, Im theory crafting a dex warrior build that has 4 levels remaining for either fighter, monk or thief acrobat. Assume he will wear armor (no wis bonus for monk), is ther any clear winner between these three fir melee combat based build? I was think fighter, but monk speed and other early feats might be nice. Not sure how useful or not TA feats are but they look appealing in paper.
Assume all prerequisite feats aren't any issue if i chose TA.
Thanks in advance for your ideas!

Well, fighter gets more feats + have access to more powerful weapons specialisation if you consider it
I also would recommend to take a look at swashbukler. It gave free Finesse feat + adds Int to attacks IIRC + other cool abilities. Totally good if you plan on take Combat Expertise and feats dependent on it

Will take a look at swash buckler as an option for build. Thanks for response!Riddance wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 3:26 am Well, fighter gets more feats + have access to more powerful weapons specialisation if you consider it

If you already have a Weapon Focus feat, then Divine Champion is arguably better than Fighter. You'll lose out on one bonus feat, but gain +2 Universal Saves.

It's worth noting that INT to damage is only a thing on Swashbuckler 5. As such, four levels won't cut it, and I would far sooner put them into Fighter or Divine Champion than Swashbuckler.
TA4 isn't too bad, I guess. I think you get knockdown immunity, and you get +1 (+2 if CE/FD/TD) AC. However, Fighter 4 seems preferable, unlocking Weapon Specialization in your weapon of choice. (If you're fighting unarmed, it will also unlock Weapon Mastery, which is nothing to scoff at!)
