Currently i am trying to improve myself a bit. A thing that bugy me most lately is, no reactions in groups. I sometimes try to just let my character introduce herself and no reaction follows. I try to join a subject that others started, new characters get cute nicknames and all the attention. But someone who is not that new and still can't play every day doesen't. I often feel that some people get priotrized or things are just missed if someone types a lot and types fast.

Sadly i can't type that fast. As a not native english süeaking player i have to

1) Read what other people say
2) Maybe trandlate complicated words with a translator
3) Thins what my character would do or say
4) Then i get to type myself.

Lately i developed a dumb habit trying to keep up and that is making weird emotes. What happens is not really my chatacter's fault, so i hope you guys don't punish her too hard. Rather poke me and tell me. I am open to constructive critizism, honest advise and suggestions. But i want to change that, so i would like to ask how i can make it better. No need to tell me "You are this. You are that.". I don't want to do that anymore. I don't want to make people feel uncomfortable, but have fun playing with me.

So if you are rping with a group and notice that people don't react to your character, and you want to get involved in that rp. What do you do to get poeple to react without scaring them off?

I understand your feelings, but don't blame yourself. Sadly when I see that people don't react to my PC, I simply say "may the moon protect you" and I walk away.

It's not your fault, it's just that most players have their agenda, and can't include you in their playing time, even if their description says their are the most kind and open minded person.

Sure their are exceptions and my PC encountered some of them (no need to type their name, they will recognize them) and I hope this post will not discourage them to continue.

It's just that RP is not what it should be for some of us .... and struggling with the language doesn't help, especially in some encounters when reading the logs you realize later that you should not have understand that, or react like this !

You know I'd play with you, but you cant come to Roaringshore without risk of being enslaved! And I need a rp reason to come to CK. In truth Im like that all around. I dont like meeting up with someone unless I got the rp reason too. Or I feel like my rp becomes forced and I dont have my natural flowing mojo.

I also have this issue: I'm not a native English speaker, and most of the time I'm playing from a very tiny 7" touchscreen, so I type very slowly. I often see people wondering if I'm AFK or something.

When I notice they're losing patience with my slow typing, I always send a tell explaining that I'm a little slow. So far, everyone has been very accepting of that and had no problems with RPing. Maybe it's worth adding an OOC note at the end of your character description too.
