hey its me again, I dont know what im doing, ive got this game on a new laptop and I cant get it to work online is there a youtube video for ... low int score people on how to get back in?

your individual serial key is not assigned to your game. Please use the Multiplayer key changer found under the start menu.

Do you have access to your own, already (old) functioning installation?

In your game installation folder, you should have a file called nwncdkey.ini. It should look like this:

[CDKEY]
Key1=aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-...
Key2=bbbb-bbbb-bbbb-bbbb-bbbb-bbbb-...
Key3=cccc-cccc-cccc-cccc-...

Just enter your keys at the appropiate positions!

Ooh k I shall try to find the folder and I’m guessing the cd key will be on gog? Where I bought it last time or should I buy a new game since it’s a new pc?

Yes, you can find your CD keys on GOG. You should not be needing to buy a new game.

When logged into GOG.com and your Account, go to your YOURACCOUNTNAME, select GAMES and then scroll or search for Neverwinter Nights 2.

When on the page of Neverwinter Nights 2, find this

Or, if you have the old installation folder still on another hard drive or folder: just copy the nwncdkey.ini from that folder to your new installation folder!

If you have a icon on your desktop for nwn2, just rightclick that and select the second menu point (should be called open folder or something like that), to open the games installation folder. If you installed via gog, open the site of your installed game, select nwn2 there, then manage installation, open folder, done.

I was having trouble finding the keys the other day, I was opening the app and looking for it, but I found out I had to go to the website instead.

I think I almost got it all figured out, its downloading the world now. takes a bit. as Im doing it I recall there was a place to predownload the world updates to save a bunch of time?
