Physical Description:
Joclyne has bright orange red hair, that remains in ringlets about her head. Her pale skin is snow white freckles dust her body like constellations. Some of those freckles dust in a line across her cheeks and nose, some her shoulders and the tops of her arms. Her pale white skin makes them look even darker, prominent on her body.
Her face is cherubic, with round cheeks and chin, dimples in the corner of her mouth, a cute, freckled button nose, and full thick lips. An overbite adorns her upper mouth, which just causes her to have sort of a permanent pout, making her lips look all that much fuller. Her eyes are large and rarely blink, with mascara trimming them making them look even bigger.
She is not tall, not slim, or athletic. Where most female adventurers sport fanciful bodies of tight honed muscles and powerful legs, of athletic dancers or strong powerful warriors, Joclyne has narrow shoulders, with fat settling on her backside, hips, thighs and stomach, creating rolls about her midsection and a paunch.
Her red tipped fingernails and toenails are always perfectly polished and maintained, and she wears black mascara and thick red lipstick on her full lips.
She most often wears a short sundress of yellow with a purple bodice and purple thigh high boots, and nothing else, choosing free and unrestricted clothing over armor. She often treats it like an obstacle, or as if disregards it easily, but, its always in perfect pressed order and pristine in cleanliness.
Psychological Description:
Joclyne is slightly unhinged, and a pleasure addict. She has severe ADHD and revels in it. Mercurial, absent minded, and a never ending font of naturally issued chaos, no one is ever sure what she's going to do next, but they know its going to be either hilarious or fun. She's quite mad, in that random, fun way, where everything is a new experience, and everyone is a new friend.
And yet her lows are lower. She has a deep sadness, a longing in her heart, and sometimes, she drinks herself to sleep so she doesn't have to remember her dreams. Her highs are highs, but her lows are so very low.
Religious views:
Joclyne is a worshiper of Sharess, as was her mentor before her. The twisted and wrong way they treated her, was a symptom of a deeper perversion of the faith, creating a selfish and cruel life. She has spent her life trying to reconcile how she grew up with the true faith of Sharess, and tries to spread joy wherever she goes. She is alone, however, and knows no other Sharessians, so as far as she knows, shes the last reveler in the area.
Warlock Pact:
Joclyne must spend every day spreading love and joy among her friends and strangers she meets.
Family:
She has two twin boys, neither of whom she remembers. She has no memory of anyone before the wizard tower, so the closest person she could call a father was the wizard who owned it.
unknown to her, however, is that her parents owned a brewery, and made Mead, hence, her last name, Edeam, is Mead backwards.
History:
Joclyne was born to a poor Brewer named Jacob and his wife, Charlene, who made Honey Mead for local taverns in Calimport. The Festhall of Eternal Delight was their main customer, and they often times visited there and worshipped with the Revel. When Joclyne was born, she was dedicated at the Festhall, where the stained glass windows glistened over the baby baptized in wine and dance.
When the Brewery was burned down and her parents killed by a rival brewery, somehow she was still alive in the rubble, sick and hurt, but nonetheless alive. The Festhall took her in and, when she was twelve years old, sent across the sea with group of revelers as an understudy for the priestesshood. While there, the priestesses were killed by a wizard and she was taken prisoner, and placed in a tower. Treated like a servant, she spent her life there for the next eight years cleaning and being an understudy, but never being allowed to leave the tower. The wizard had practiced a cruel and selfish form of sharess worship, and she was neglected fiercely until she turned eighteen years old.
When she turned of age, the wizard began to treat her differently, and soon, there budded a romance. a quick, hot and heavy romance that seemed to turn her world upside down from the cruelty and neglect she had suffered for years, and now she was treated like a treasured lover. Unfortunately, this only lasted for about six weeks, whereupon the wizard brought a new conquest home, and discarded her. When Joclyne grew hurt, not at the introduction of another woman but being ignored once more, she voiced her concerns, perhaps emboldened by her short romance with the wizard. Upon this outrage, the wizard cast a powerful curse on her, set her adrift on a rowboat away from the island with no oars, on a magical wind.
Out on the ocean, with no way to move or change direction, no cover from the sun, and no knowledge of how to survive in such conditions, she began to die. On her last day, delirious from heat, hunger and dehydration, an angel appeared above her. The angels name was Zazarael, and she was one of Sharesses heavenly host, and took pity on Joclyne, who, upon inspection, she realized was not only pregnant with twins, but that her soul was damaged severely by the curse laid upon it. in order to save both her and the children, Zazarael grafted a piece of her soul into her, and made a pact with Joclyne, one, of course, she was far too delirious and addled to remember or truly consent to.
