👑 Client Extender - by Skywing & GoG Version Rollback to 1.23

Unread post by Goat »

The current version of the Client Extender by Skywing on the 'Neverwinter Vault' is outdated. The current client extender typically auto updates, but does not do so currently - it also does not show the server listing. You can connect via history and favourite a server from the history list once you connect, but you will have to direct connect first.

Our direct connect IPs are:

BGTSCC South: game.bgtscc.net:5121
BGTSCC North: game.bgtscc.net:5122
BGTSCC Jegs: game.bgtscc.net:5123

--

The client extender 1.0.0.32 is located here: download/CE.zip
Place the files in the same folder as your installation files, NOT your document files! Launch NWLauncher.exe. You can also make a shortcut to this EXE on your Desktop. Delete other/older shortcuts to NWN2 to prevent a mixup.

Thanks!

If you have the GoG launcher - they GoG released a patch in 2025: version: 1.23 GOG v2 that has a few issues, including window mode crashing. It is best to roll back to the previous version. Doing so is fairly easily.

1. Launch the GoG Launcher and select Neverwinter Nights 2.

2. Click the configuration icon at the top right which looks like this:

3. Hover over Manage installation, and click configure.

4. Uncheck Automatically update to newest version. Then select Version 1.23 - and click OK.

It will get you the files you need (rather fast/almost instantly.) and you should be setup! Make sure you are running the client extender (NWLauncher.exe). Don't run the game through the GoG Launcher! If you need some more information on how to rollback - click here.
