Trade Way Penitent Day 6:
Set upon the Trade Way in penance I offer aid where none is asked. I pray for my vigil to prove more useful than knight tilting at windmills.

- I mean tis be just a banner - invitation to interact with us. Not a barricade
- Barricade you say?
- Please don't chop the tree
- How about cutting down this tree?
- I knew it before you said it!

Trade Way Penitent Day 7:

Even beside the Trade Way people tend to randomly gather around the Red Banner. I met today with madam Alindra Carstein - Justiciar to Oghma that told me of Candlekeep incident and sir Baris Waynolt - Crusader of Hoar. Both recruited in task of securing Balduran Halls of Inner Light till arrival of Ruby Rose contingent. No idle hands on my watch! I've distributed guard schedules and handed over proper Warmace to Baris - may it serve a warning to any followers to Lord of Murder that would dare to disturb the beauty of Sunite temple. Sent them both on their way reporting to Heartwarder Alyssa. Still not sure if I'll find any volunteers within my Order but at least part of the shifts will be secured now.

Time for someone other than the same ten old faces to start doing things around here. Lady Netanya sure was being assassinated enough times already.

- Huh did Lord Aaron forget to take off this angel suit he was wearing on the Darius party?
- Have you not heard? He has wings now. No idea how.
- Those are real? Blessed be!

Trade Way Penitent Day 8:

Today it was nice to find myself in company consisting of more gentlemen. Told sir Iason Whitehawk - Knight-Errant from Silverymoon about situation in Inner Lights Hall and sent him to Heartwarder Alyssa with promise to cover one of the shifts.

- If I can offer any aid in return don't hesitate. I could problably raise a small army if needed at momments notice.
- I am not that small.

Trade Way Penitent Day 9:

Strangest encounter so far. Seen an inexperienced traveler ambushed by kobolds, rushed to help him, chased the kobolds away and healed the man from the brink of collapse. He stood up, looked at me and ran away without a word. Maybe he earlier met clerics of Waukeen and just wanted to avoid the toll? I hope it wasn't the smile...

I shall betray not Your tenets, nor stray one step from them.
Take not your gaze from me, leave me not without your grace.

Trade Way Penitent Day 10:

World keeps surprising. Boastful orc approached Friendly Arms Gates today. Just one.
- What manner of madness brings you in front of your executioners?
Crossbowmen on the tower are sharpshooters. Myself and one of the bystanders buried the body. All I could offer at this point is to consecrate the ground. I keep wondering what makes such creatures throw their lives away so pointlessly.

One should not start a battle or a war unless one is certain that victory will bring more gains than defeat will bring losses.

Trade Way Penitent Day 11:
Rumors reached me of bandits ambushing a caravan along the Trade Way. I gathered allies and led an investigation. We tracked the attackers to an abandoned mine, where we encountered a hostile, well-armed group and eliminated the threat.
Among their spoils, half the chests proved to be mimics - an odd and troubling discovery. Why a merchant caravan would transport such creatures remains unclear. The rest of the cargo was unmarked, leaving no way to identify its rightful owners.
The reward was modest. Abandoning the goods could just empower different group of bandits so more out of duty rather than greed, I chose to recover and sell what little remained.
Justice prevailed.
Come, show me what passes for fury amongst your misbegotten kind!
