Riddle me this...my PC Essaar has CL 30. And he got bigly dispelled from a Greater Dispel Magic (1d20 + 20 Caster vs 11 + CL of target). So in my PC's case, if the Fire Giant Mage rolled a 20 and had a 40 score, my PC "defended" with 41. How possible? Do the Fire Giant Mages have a "magic" bonus to dispelling??
Also...how the puck does Greater Magic Fang get dispelled twice???
There are a lot of possibilities to consider, being level drained before casting the wards for one, that the giant may have been a rare yellow named with mords instead of greater dispel.
Without details it's hard to analyze.
But overall, it may be a bug as well, I'll walk through the Graypeaks when I get a chance to test it.
Mirror Mirror on the wall , who's the meanest of them all ...
I’m 99% sure no level drain involved. A Mords is usually listed in the Combat Log as a Mords, right?
Also not a yellow name named mob. However, it was the Fire Giant Mage that spawns alongside the Nalfarshee. Maybe it’s pumped more than all other FGMs??

I figured out the problem: Cavestalker is not progressing the CL of my Druid (the build is 20 Druid / 4 Rogue / 6 Cavestalker with Practised Spellcaster). Now the question is, why not? F, I hate this game!!!!
