Shapechange - Loss of spells for sorcs - EE

I know many have tried but could not fix this in the past, but can this be fixed with EE?

Isn’t this only a thing when using a Race with a positive CHA modifier? And/or if utilizing Bonus Spell items?

The race yes, for certain. I cant remember if sorcerers lose spells from spell slot items as well

Happens on my human sorcerer too, so no, not just a race thing.

Is this PC also using items with Bonus Spell slots? If so, what happens when shifting without them equipped?

ye, since forever. Actually it was happening on wizards but it was fixed. We were told it could not be fixed on spontaneous casters
