- Grammar and style checking, not just spelling. Each kind gets its own dotted underline: spelling red, typos orange, grammar violet, usage blue, style gold. Right-click for corrections, add-to-dictionary, or ignore. Powered by **goat_harper.dll** in the game folder - ships with the zip or you can download it with **/spellcheckupdate** - runs entirely on your machine, English only; If yo want basic spell checking in other languages, use the standard spell checker that comes attached already. Preloaded with DnD/Faerun terms as well. **/spellcheck** on/off, **/spellchecklanguage** lists and switches languages, **/spellcheckrules** tunes individual grammar rules. Proton will require goat_harper.dll to have any function.
- **/uiscale** resizes the UI in play - 10% to 300% in 10% steps, no relog. **ui** is the game's own interface scale, **ee** is the extra scale EE adds on top.
- Spell effects — fireballs, explosions, smoke - draw correctly with original textures on. No more accidental rainbow textures.
- Reopening the server browser after a game relog refetches the full list instead of leaving you a stale Steam-only one.
- The Player List shows each player's account under their name similar to NWN2.
- The DM Creator list shows builder notes again - names like **Chest{Level 0, NoTrap, Mimic}**
- Expanding and collapsing DM Creator categories works right with the speedup on.
- A rare crash on busy area loads is gone: a sound handle the engine had already freed could take the whole game down when played.
- The connection-failure popup shows a real sentence instead of a raw **Bad Strref** placeholder.
- Trimmed a bunch of small per-frame costs: controller polling, the DM palette's input checks, the FPS-cap check, and a few GPU-culling lookups.
- Sounds fade with distance the way the original game did. The EE shipped with the wrong falloff curve.
- **/listener** puts the sound listener on your character instead of the camera, so zooming out doesn't quiet the world. Off by default — the game's normal camera sound stays unless you flip it.
- **Fog of war** - Trees, bushes, and plants no longer show inside unexplored areas. Doors and walls on the edge of an unexplored room no longer show through the fog.
- PrtScn now registers on every keyboard — some keyboards report the key in a way the old check missed.
- Classic item icons bug fix.
- Linux/Proton: connecting with TLS off no longer hangs. The network layer that keeps connects alive under Wine only installed in some configurations; it's always in now.
- TLS turns itself back on after a fallback session the way it was meant to.
- Reconnecting after a disconnect no longer spins forever.
- Crash files: if the game crashes, a small crash file is saved to your Logs folder. (CrashDump=1)
