Re: Rumours of Sshamath
Rumours spread through Sshamath that Lord Magus Safazar had been seen outside the Tower of the Masked Mage, standing on the bridge seemingly engaged in conversation with himself. Some claim they heard a second voice in the darkness. Others insist the Lord Magus was merely muttering to himself.

Re: Rumours of Sshamath
Some say the elusive, cowled creature "known" as Shaiit'dar (The Nameless One in the Drow language), or Shadar, as most end up call him, has been offering his services in the City of Dark Weavings and beyond. Said services are rumored to be including a large variety of tasks connected with the specific skillset most would guess, but ultimately being centered around information brokerage. The superstitious would add that leaving word in the Darkwoods that there is an opportunity for cooperation has him unfailingly materializing exactly one cycle after the request, like some sort of curse...

Re: Rumours of Sshamath

Four travelers descended into Sshamath, having reached the city by foot through unknown passages. Two of them, a tiefling and a genasi, were returning visitors, which the locals might have remembered passing by the city several times already in the past days, either by themselves, or with extended company. The other half of the party was made up of a human sailor from the surface, and a mysterious masked figure familiar with the tongue of the Drows.Maiden: "Hells..."
Raider: "Behold, the city of Sshamath!"
Pirate: "Like out at sea when the crill be glowin! At night."
Raider: "I've been told that the men run this place for a change, which I guess is why it's not a complete mess."
Warrior: *looks down a bit*
Maiden: "...Hells..." *she says again*
Raider: "I never thought of it that way! But it is true, yes. The spires look like rocks and glaciers."
Maiden: "What are the magical, curtains? Barriers around buildings?"
Warrior: "Yeaup. Bunch of mages run the place. So the whole place's gotta be locked up tight with wards."
Maiden: "It is...." *she drifts a bit,* "...huge."
Pirate: *Grabs her arm with his good hand, holding her in place.*
Maiden: *isn't even aware of it as she takes it all in.*
Pirate: "Don't fall now lass, the sirens be callin ta ya."
Maiden: "Yes, um... no I mean."
The group enjoyed a tour of the city, stopped by the Spider's Kiss for a while, and later departed for the Mist Lake. There, they were joined by a native, and went on to explore some of the nearby ruins together before retiring for some rest.
