The Grove at the Lions Way: Visit at a calm summers day
The druids Naer'eanque, Seharan and Sordoc could had been spotted on their way to the grove at the Lions Way.
That three had checked, if the security of the Grove was still maintend, after an Aurilite was taking the trading way.
It was the second one spoted that day. Something supsicious at a warm day of summer.
Only Naer' was of the Green Enclave, but the safety of such a place was something of general interest for the followers of nature.
Gladly the grove was safe and calm...
Over the time of the last half year, small offerings could be noticed at the wayside shrine of Mielliki on the road near Beregost. Although the intervals were irregular, they were nonetheless consistent - and now, during the period of late summer and early autumn increased.
There were most often acorns or hazelnuts, but also dried berries were placed at the feet of the shrine.
Upon hearing concerning reports of goblins hunting wildlife with poison arrows, the High Ranger quietly patrols the area near Mielikki's shrine along the Trade Way. She searches for any signs of goblins, poison arrows, or poisoned wildlife. Her steps are silent and sure and her scent has vanished.
An elf with red hair, wearing a light armour made of leather and adored with red-yellowish leaves, could have been seen since the late days of summer more often at the wayside-shrine of Mielikki.
She took care, that at least some acorns or hazelnuts, sometimes also berries would be placed as offerings in front of the statue. Of course, some of the smaller animals would have take them away over the time, but that’s the way of nature.
The elf was often sitting in front or at the side of the shrine; barely moving. Hard to say, if she had been meditating or was captured in a silent prayer. Sometimes she was sat closer to the river and fallen deep in thoughts. Watching the flowing water, the trees or how the clouds were moving on the sky.
She also aided a wounded stag, that had drawn a line of blood towards the shrine.
Over the time, some travellers had spent her brief company:
A man with two huge elementals for example, who rescued her two times from raging giants. One time he also made her invisible for a short duration.
Or a Tiefling, who asked about the herbs, before she gathered the herbs.
Then there was also a raven, who asked for „khards“.
In the recent days, the elf had a longer conversation with a blade-wielding woman. A more serious conversation so it seemed, that left the elf in even more thoughts than usual.
