Temple of Auril RP

People passing recently through Cloud Peaks noticed something unusual. Since few days, one particular mountain peak is illuminated with faint blue lights every night. During day instead of light, come noises resembling echos of striking hammers. Many travelers afraid that sound may cause an avalanche and decide to take longer trails, to avoid area close to the mountain.

There was much rejoicing among members of the faith of Auril this past week as an unexpected frost claimed the lands outside the Friendly Arm Inn as the Winter Solstice approached.



One adherent to the faith commemorated the welcomed phenomenon by offering Frost Cream to any passersby willing to lick her chilled creamy delight. She offered Frosted Cream in flavors of Co-co, Cherry, and the popular Strawbetty flavor.





Overall, it was a good wintery week

The Icedawn's House

The regular noise coming from mountain above Cloud Peaks valley has finally stopped. Many suspected what happened there, but now it is confirmed - Icedawn's House stands proudly once again. Hidden trail leading to peak is revealed, the gates of the temple are widely opened for pilgrims and to those who wish to serve in Auril name.

Atipical pilgrim visited Temple of Auril - a rogue, who usually avoid gods attention, nor cares for blessings. Perhaps he consider it as adventure or the visit was only simple curiosity. Nontheless, scoundrel offered a tribute and pray to Icedawn, as Storm Sister poured her religious views into his mind. How successful the attempt was? Hard to tell.

Ontelima spoke with another traveler visiting temple. The man came to rest and spent time in solitude. Despite of that, he exchanged few words with Storm Sister, talking about Auril and clergy. After little nagging, traveler offered generous gift to Icedawn. Grateful priestess blessed the pilgrim, before he depart back to snowy landscape.

Priestess: "Lady of Winter. Accept tribute brought by those loyal to you, loyal to Talos, loyal to Umberlee, and from those who simply respect your power! Lend them strength and courage to live and overcome dangers! Be praised! ...If any of you have words to the goddess, now is your chance."

A group of visitors, two new ones and two returning, arrived to the House of the Icedawn by way of magic, and spent a lengthy part of the evening in friendly conversation with the local Storm Sister. A few subjects were covered and a religious tale was shared. Afterwards, the priestess urged for donations from the visitors to the temple, and a varied and significant array of offerings were placed upon the altar.
Once the religious ceremony was completed, the group left the temple, this time by foot, and its members turned to more bloodied activities along the slopes of the Cloud Peaks.

Postulant, Master Strategist and Tactician, Slayer of the Red Sorceress, Hero of the Battle of Beregost, etc. "We had to run with it as part of the race. Oh well it's probably devolved into a crazy orgy by now."

Warrior: "What."

Priestess: "Right. Soil is wet of wine by now."

Raider: "Yes, that goddess is fond of breeding and fertility, and all such things, after all."

Postulant, Master Strategist and Tactician, Slayer of the Red Sorceress, Hero of the Battle of Beregost, etc. "My point exactly. Probably in woods naked and shagging each other."

Warrior: "Damn. Thought it was a farmer thing."

Two warriors were recently summoned to the Icedawn temple in the Cloud Peaks for reasons unknown. They would leave shortly after alongside the Storm Sister and another woman, heading for the Speartop.

The group was spotted, later that same day, in the market of the Roaringshore village, having appeared there through arcane means. The four discussed various subject of personal and religious nature, before going their separate ways: the two women staying at the local inn for the night, and the two men marching on eastward.

Warrior: "I mean, not really know how much more it can be wrecked... But I guess there's more to it."

Priestess: "Turn it into dust I guess."

Raider: "Yes, that is an option!"

Two familiar faces would be seen appearing by way of magic at the gates of the Icedawn House atop the Cloud Peaks. Contrary to past visits, this pilgrimage had seemingly less to do in regards with seeking the temple's services, and appeared more focused on a exchange of information between the two of them and the local Storm Sister.

The three talked for quite some time, and the religious and tactical implications of a certain recent portent related to the gods of Fury were discussed, alongside other developments relating to the wilder northern regions. Some chatter relating to certain new faces on the Coast that had been identified as servants of the gods of Fury was also exchanged, and some manner of invitation was offered to Storm Sister.

Eventually, the priestess would be called to her temple duties, and the two pilgrims would bid farewell, departing from the temple with cordial words, and then disappearing by way of scroll to unknown destination.
