Farmland Fury - End

Rumors start to circulate from the Citadel of Strategic Militancy that whatever had been slaying farmers and their farm animals had been destroyed. It was stated that a terrible creature and a small band of cultists lurking in and around the southern farmlands in the Fields of the Dead were the ones responsible, but had seemed to have been driven away. Some claim the said cultists were able to shapeshift and had attacked the farmers, while others claim a massive, panther-like beast covered in red markings was the culprit. Some even say it was simply a wild, angry dire bear, and that cultists in the region seemed unlikely, chalking the attacks up to brigands rather than sinister cult worshippers.

Still, the rumors seemed to carry some truth to them. Bodies are slowly recovered from the areas that had been attacked, their remains properly looked after. Farmers begin to continue on with their winter preparations without the fear of a sudden, gruesome death lingering over them. Whatever had been plaguing the farm workers and lands in the area, had seemed to have been swiftly dealt with, and all returned to as it should be.

MISTY FOREST - EN DHARASHA - ELVEN EXODUS
The Council happened. Accusations about Dhaerow and association with them were exchanged. Voices spoke against another. At the end, the villagers were leaving shocked, in distress. As the coming days and nights came, the village life changed drastically. Elves worked hand in hand, packing, getting supplies that had been gathered before. Then, they set off. Scouts went ahead, searching secure routes. Rangers fought off any threat, like orcs, they could spot. The youngest and most vulnerable were shielded by those older and stronger. The Elders were with the people, offering their help and protection in any way possible.

Of the several hundred elves that had populated En Dharasha Everae before, only a few remained. Silence fell.

Where those who had left had gone, it was not known. It was only certain that they did not return.

Bright Lights

Rumours spread by those travelling northbound along the trade route towards Soubar claim that a caravan was attacked and that its wagon was burned. Merchants passing through state it was a scene of chaos; bodies of both merchant and guards were stripped, and dead horses had been strewn throughout the area. They sate there were no survivors, the assault bloody and absolute, with mention of scavengers and bugbear’s seen about, picking out what little remained.

Meanwhile, travellers venturing further north into the hills of Thundar’s Ride claim that, on that very same night, a series of brilliant flashes erupted across the dark sky. Some claim that a sudden storm had rolled through and lightning had struck an area, while the odd superstitious sort claimed it was a sign of one of the gods!

Later, any who would approach the shrine of Hoar nestled in the rolling hills along Thundar’s Ride would find that the shrine had indeed been visited by something. While the shrine itself still stood, parts of the mound making up the shrine and the area before and around it was all scorched, as if lightning and energy had tried to tear up the lands about it. A few of those who knew of Hoar take this as a sign that perhaps the Doombringer had answered some priest’s prayer, while others claim it was clearly the work of something far more nefarious. Whatever it had been, it had certainly spooked the bugbear's in the region, many of the goblinoids opting to avoid the shrine for a long, long while.
