Suspected Murderer or Misunderstanding! by Editor Alice Sharp
On the cool Marpenoth morning, Flaming Fists presence has increased around the lower district. Soldiers stand outside of a building down the alleyway meters away from the Baldur's Mouth! The residence in question belonged to a local merchant seller of herbs Marina Helens. Most know her around the city as the best fresh basil you could get for the price.
According to Flaming Fist, Marina in her old age had been living in the residence above convicted necromancer Gianna James and missing person Aaron Selarek. Baldur's Mouth independent investigators report that it is possible the two had set up the old lady. Currently Marina, or as the flaming fist call her "Sister Sarah"; has been locked away in the Flaming Fist Headquarters. Several neighbors expect her to be released from this misunderstanding. When speaking to Watchmen Marco he is quoted:
"We found a lot of sick stuff in that upstairs kitchen. It's the sort of nightmare that keeps you up at night. If Sister Sarah had anything to do with this, I expect it to be a short trip to the Gallows."
Other members of the public report their support of the elderly woman. One of which was resident and farmer Matthew Lanson who expressed his outrage at the Flaming Fist. The elderly man described Marina has his long time partner, and did not believe for a moment the rumors were true. When asked to comment on the arrest he said:
"This misunderstanding is criminal! Marina is a caring and compassionate Ilmatari woman. For the past few months, it has been by her kindness that I have made it through some of the hardest days of my life. While most walk on by, Marina is one of the few that will take the time out of her day to help you through the worst. This is yet another injustice perpetrated by the Flaming Fist."

Toril's Chicken Biggest Egg! by Investigator Francis Maunc
Have you ever wondered how big a chicken egg could get? Well Farmer Dan of the Harlton Hamlet just outside of Baldur's Gate says he found the answer! Our recent investigation into his claim has offered this insight.
How long have you been farming in the area, Mister Foster?
Foster replied, "About as long as the next guy, but I've been feeding these chickens here the good feed you can old get at the temple of Chauntae."
What do the other chicken farms around the area think of your claim of having the largest egg?
The older gentleman answered, "Jealousy and hogwash. They've been saying my chicken egg has been exchanged for a wyvren egg, but that is simply not true. Some adventurers do come around, but I am quick to tell them I don't want no help."
Dan, and what of the critics who demand you let one someone hold a candle to check the egg's authenticity?
Mister Foster became agitated and exclaimed, "I won't hear any more requests to take my eggs. Those there chickens laid that egg, and if you have any doubt you can just ask them!"
The farmer shut the door on me, bringing this interview to an abrupt end. So how big can a chicken egg get? Well, pretty big! While I wasn't allowed to hold it, I could see it sitting in a case in view from the famers window. We wish you the best, Dann Foster.
