((The wedding in Corm Orp by the lake will take place this Saturday, July 18th, at 4pm EST. A party in Darkhold will follow.

If you would like your PC to attend but they're on the Dreadlord's ban list, please contact me or Bob's player on Discord at AgentOrange#3218 or Bobthehero#2136 and ask about an exception to simply observe the ceremony. I probably won't be in-game much or at all the next two days, but we can assume it was arranged ICly.))

For some reason, Marietta and Bob postponed their wedding by six days, most likely due to lack of actual planning. Hastily altered flyers went up around the Coast.

Once again, posters and flyers are shared in all public places by members of the Haukesworth Trade Consortium and their helpers. They may be seen for example in the City of Bladur's Gate, the Farmlands, Ulgoth's Beard, the FAI, some even find their way to Doron Amar and Candle Keep.

After a bit of re-organization and settling of the affairs that had caused an initial delay, fliers have been posted up in several towns on the Coast. The bottom of the parchment bears a small symbol of Chauntea, suggesting the nature of the market's organizers, as well as a few points of contact: Rowan Quinn, Maelis Warren, or Sabon.

Traveling Farmer’s Market

Residents and visitors of the Coast are invited to attend the Traveling Farmer’s Market, starting in Ulgoth's Beard on the 28th day of Eleasis; this market will be hosted in a different town every month. Please contact the organizers if you wish to reserve a stall to sell your wares. Find fresh produce, baked goods, cooked delights, crafted wares and more in the Ulgoth's Beard market square!

Now hiring extra hands for help with set-up, live musical performances, clean-up and more.

(( OOC: Farmer's Market on Friday, August 28th starting at 21:00 GMT at Ulgoth's Beard. Anyone can set up a stall, browse wares, or just socialize at their own whim! We'll have a few stalls available to rent as well for those who don't have them. Feel free to message me with any questions, if you want to reserve/bring a stall, or if your character is interested in making a bit of extra gold by helping out with set-up or live entertainment. ))

Adrian Baker, painter and author, recently visited The Shelf of Many Books in Baldur's Gate,
where he stayed for a few hours.

Following his departure couriers were seen leaving the library and headed towards Candlekeep,
bringing with them a fairly large package.

Rumors of speculation soon arise that the red-headed stutterer has released a new book.

(( "Tales and Omens from an Arch-Fey" is now available at either library in the "Tales" category. ))

Masquerade of the Damned
At Darkhold

Prizes for Best Costume
Open Stage • Murder Mystery • Courtyard Open Market

1st Place Prizes: 65% of the Pot
And a Date with the Dreadlord or a Mystery Item

2nd Place Prizes: 25% of the Pot

3rd Place Prizes: 10% of the Pot

On the first of Uktar, all the most vile miscreants of the Coast will assemble at Darkhold for an unholy masquerade.

Join us for an open market, accompanied by song and dance, while a secret murderer runs loose through the keep -- leaving a trail of bodies and only a handful of clues. It will be up to the guests to solve this mystery before it's too late, lest the murderer direct his sights on them as well.

At the 2nd Candlemark, guests will be invited to attend an open stage, where the most macabre of tales and jokes shall be shared -- accompanied only by hideous laughter.

And at the 3rd Candlemark of the ball, a costume contest will be held -- with three judges selected from the audience at random. Which ghastly costume will inspire the most delight? Come and find out...

All guests will be inspected at the Main Gate. No weapons, poisons, or explosives will be allowed inside. Any confiscated weaponry or items will be returned to you when you leave.

If you are interested in hosting a stall at the open market, contact Dreadlord Victoria Thornhart immediately. Include which organization you will be representing and what wares you intend to sell.

The Murder Mystery is just for fun and games -- in other words, pretend. Dreadlord Thornhart will tolerate no violence inside Darkhold or attempted murder. The safety of all guests will be ensured on this evening.

The entry fee for the costume contest will be 1,000 coins. The three judges will be paid 5,000 coins each for their services.

If you happen to be a banned person or part of a banned group, but you are interested in attending, you can contact Dreadlord Victoria Thornhart to be escorted onto the premises. Refer to Darkhold's laws, public banishment list, or agents if you have any questions.

The Pacifist Tiefling, Her Ideal Heart, Her Plan To Action

It is proofed, near factual and corroborated by many that Cinnamon has always discussed much of her plans aloud, the great expanse she will create for Monsterkind, that they are capable of change, that they can become more, do more, be better, know better.

Yet, none have ever seen a change, or action, just the words of a naive little girl, and there were not much in the ways of accounts beyond her own word.

Until now.

As news began to creep through the land, of Bugbears and their actions against the Chionthar River, to be accused of poisoning it, putting the live's of thousands at risk, the Woman was seen bolting out about the very same Coast, they say tears filled her puffy face, that of a bee stung Maiden, the valiant earthquakes shattering the Earth with her powerful strides, as she charged along bullheadedly, leaving a trail for all to follow her.

Accounts of many Adventurer's now tell the tale of a Pacifist Gone Mad, Cinnamon has been caught petrifying Monsters across the Coast, Bugbears, Gnolls, Flinds, Xvarts, Goblins, Wyverns, Kobolds, for what purpose, none have yet to claim. Her trace has been disclosed as vanishing along the trails between hikes to locations, she and her Mercenaries vanish into what people claim as thin air.

She carries them, with help from Half-Orc Mercenaries, across the Land, and when asked to put back the disturbing nature of this behaviour, she has spawned Entities from other Lands, enforcing what they say she claimed as "Harmony and peace between her Ideals and their opposition", Adventurer's have begun fleeing the scene, or putting sword to her, casting doubt upon her motives.

Accounts furthermore claim that, no matter the sword point, Cinnamon has not murdered a soul, instead healing her would-be foes from falling to death's embrace, demanding with valiant diplomacy, that they do not force her hand in this way, that Eldath only affords her to defend herself and her allies, the gossip accounts that she noted her allies as the stone statues she carried.

Questions & Answers:

Question:
What does this mean?

Answer:
It means Cinnamon will near exclusively be actively found in Player VS Monster zones, capturing Monster Exclusive targets for her own purposes.
Please do as you feel, you have my full consent to consider these actions as motive to outright attack her as soon as she petrifies a Monster, no sooner, no earlier. Screenshots will be made and kept.

Question:
How do I get involved?

Answer:
Player scry will be online, showing which fields she inhabits, this will constitute as "Automatic Rumours" - You can make up how you heard about it, it will be a big deal that many would disclose her location, be it your Faction Spies or otherwise, even if not explicitly posted on Forums, it is presumed many would flee the scene or be present to combat the situation(s) at hand.
You may also Inbox me here or in-game with sendings or OOC tagged messages, I am always happy to talk.

Question:
Why? Isn't she an Eldathyn? Keeper of Harmony & Pacifism?

Answer:
Explore in game as you see fit. :)

Question:
Why now?

Answer:
I am happy to discuss that many players have, rightfully so, sabotaged her attempts at staying with monsters - Going as far to complete genocide, noted as "Everything runs away from you", when too many foes have been killed, and other such forms, including, though not limited too, destroying the entire area.

She has been antagonised, interrogated, bullied and told she is not doing enough. The icing on this landslide, was the Bugbear's being called beasts enough to poison the Chionthar River. Which she does not personally believe is even remotely possible, and even if it were in the realm of such, she refuses to accept it, be it naivete or stalwart heart of idealism.

She will no longer be "holding back" and will be doing her plans without "perfect planning in quiet zones", any longer.
She has decided to bring the change she must, with the actions she must, to what consequence, well, that is where all you lovely people come in, to decide how it works. <3

Any other questions? Shoot! I will answer them as best as I can.
