My guess is the people meta and saw the "Persistent Aura" on the Character Buffs and thought, PALADIN! Has happened a few times to me...haha.

That's not the Gargauth way. If someone's foolish enough to believe you're an upstanding champion of light and justice, then reap the benefits afforded to you from that misunderstanding.

A Blackguard of Talos, on the other hand, would have already forcefed them his spear.

Nope...I let them believe it all they wanted. Haha, I have let a few paladins into the maws of dragons in my day. Muhaha
