Can we get an update on the current state of the city please? I can't find an official (DM) post anywhere?

((If you have a player request that is siege related that you have not heard back on or have not yet sent in, please PM the DM team for us to review it! I just got back from vacation OOC, so I can DM in game again instead of just on the forums thank goodness! Thanks for all of your great player RP in the siege and 1351ish metaplot so far!))

I couldn't have imagined anything better. It really was awesome to behold, thank you DMs and in the Finale, especially BL, Dial and Theo whose events I was privileged to take part :)

Cheers to you all :!:

Well, at least I managed to make it to one of the events..-sigh- I always miss out. Thanks DMs, for all the effort, and for making these things so very entertaining for all of us! (hmm..that sounds snide, but its honest. Thanks!)

For the record, I found this plot hugely enjoyable for numerous reasons... but primarily because it seemed tailored to appeal to and include so many characters from different walks of life. I'm glad it wasn't as inclusive as some plots seem to be, and it also wasn't too daunting to stay up to speed on the crazy amounts of things happening. The pacing and execution by the DM's was also excellent, even with being slaughtered by my job I still found a way to jump in with three of my characters. I also very much enjoyed reading and watching all the IG and forum RP contributed by the numerous players that participated.

Kudos to everyone involved :)

Well said. Although, I suspect there is much, much more to discover about this plot...everyone had bits and pieces, but very few if anybody has a complete picture of what really happened, and will happen.

Myself, I discovered key things seconds before the very end of it all. Masterfully engineered.

I would like to thank all the players who put up with my mage. That isn't easy if you're not an elf (well...a strange elf...). Actually, that isn't easy at all, for anyone :D...

Undying (pardon the pun...) gratitude to the architects and executors of this immense campaign. Above and beyond anything that could be expected or demanded: (mainly, but not exclusively!) DM Bloodlust, DM Dialectic, DM Golem, DM Theophanies in alphabetical order, displayed incredible commitment and DMing skills, as well as professional-level organization. You have every right to be proud of this outstanding achievement.

Very special thanks to DM Bloodlust for creating and conducting what I believe to be the most massive of all campaigns that ever were as far as NWN2 is concerned. Revolutionized timeline management, complexity, information value, combat scale & challenge, level of devastation and player involvement, visual experience...and incredible number of events, to boot. I have never seen such a manic attention for every possible detail, even though I have been lucky enough to take part in wondrous events created by fantastic DMs over the years (DEFINITELY including the aforementioned ones, without whose splendid ideas that intrigued me to the core, Kael would not even exist anymore).

As a player, I am enormously grateful. As a former DM, I am awestruck. And as a NWN enthusiast, I am proud to have been a small part of this.

Cheers!

Any news on this? Also can we get the casualties each group suffered throughout the course of the war?

//If you mean specific ending events of the siege, DM Bloodlust has posted these here already, but there may be some subsequent posts on this coming by the DM Team:

http://bgtscc.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=49477

As for a clear statement by the DM team on where IC lore stands post the 1351 metaplot, we are working on this, it is just taking a bit of time as some DMs who put a lot of time into the last few weeks of the metaplot have to catch up on OOC things and we also do not want to unduly rush decisions on communicating the post-1351 lore setting in BG and elsewhere after the metaplot, we would rather do it right and have a certain post-1351 lore starting point that is clear to players and staff and makes sense IC based off events of the past year and does the previous RP justice. I would guess that we have this lore information public this week or next. If you need immediate answers for your RP beyond what is publicly available IC/OOC right now, please send in a player request to the DM team and we'll see if we can give you some provisional IC/OOC info in the meantime.//
