Re: Solar Channeler
According to the update thread, the Solar Channeler PrC has been released! Does anyone know the answer to these groups of questions:
1) Which wiki entry is correct? This one https://wiki.bgtscc.net/index.php?title=Solar_Channeler or this one http://bgtscc.wikia.com/wiki/Solar_Channeler? In other words, does the class grant 7 out of 10 spell progression or 10 out of 10? I assume the nerfier version applies, but it would be good to be sure.
2) What are the stats of the solar and its weapon? What transfers to the form? Do the Spell focus Transmutation feats add AC? Which of the above two wiki descriptions applies re. STR, DEX, and CON boni? And do the latter stack with ability buffs or not?
3) Is it still an application class? If so, what does champion of a church mean exactly?

I think you're right, since the 7/10 progression is the one that states it's a Cleric-only PrC. Must be the correct one.Rudolph wrote:According to the update thread, the Solar Channeler PrC has been released! Does anyone know the answer to these groups of questions:

Pretty sure it isn't an app-only class.3) Is it still an application class? If so, what does champion of a church mean exactly?
This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans

The wiki. is the correct one, the one you get to by the link atop of this forum. That means 7/10 progression. No application required afaik. And no transmutation bonus.
Nothing transfers to the form (it does not work like shapechange/wildshape). Unbuffed it looks like this:

Re: Solar Channeler
The ingame description still states full spell progression and another feat order.

Re: Solar Channeler
Thanks for answering some questions already. What about the stacking of ability bonuses? Oh, and four more came up:
In the correct wiki it still mentions
Under 'Solar Grace' it says:
The picture of the Solar suggests it has 20 STR, DEX, CON as base values. Do these supersede the character's regular values for these abilities?
Does the Solar wear armor? Or do Monk, Phantom, Duelist, and FoF AC boni apply?
In the correct wiki it still mentions
At the same time it says 3/day. Which is it? Or is it really both? This ability consumes one use of turn-undead and has a cooldown of 6 minutes
Under 'Solar Grace' it says:
Does this mean it cannot be applied to the caster or does the self count as an ally? You bestow the characteristics of a Solar on an ally temporarily.

Yes.Rudolph wrote: The picture of the Solar suggests it has 20 STR, DEX, CON as base values. Do these supersede the character's regular values for these abilities?
None of those AC should apply but I'll double check, if they do it's a bug to correct.Rudolph wrote: Does the Solar wear armor? Or do Monk, Phantom, Duelist, and FoF AC boni apply?
Regarding the bonus to physical stats for each modifier point in wisdom they stack with spells, it sets the base scores to 20 + WIS modifier, capped at 10.
Spell focus transmutation don't matter.
All properties from your gear transfer atm.
More generally the old wiki is not updated anymore, don't go there.

Re: Solar Channeler
Wait a second...
Solar's Grace says use solar Grace at will, duration is 3 minutes...
Then it says it costs one use of turn undead, and lasts for 1 minute.
Which statements are true and which are a mistake?
