Dragon Warrior:
a) Has unlimited uses
b) Doesn't require 13 dex
c) Doesn't require 2 useless feats
d) Has dragon breath, which is pretty rad on this server
e) Grants blindfight, which means 1 less mandatory feat.

f) You need to be some kind of dragon enthusiast and any good role-play means at least some emulation of your chosen dragon type. If they are aggressive, scheming, talkative, or what not, then so should your character be.
It easy to pick a dragon based on the element it gives, and later read up on the actual dragon type and realise that your choice was completely wrong for your character.
Where as Dragonslayer... "Point me a dragon and it is a dragon I will try to kill!" So much simpler and easier.

Yeah why? - How many Dragonwarriors are out there?
I know that Hoihe had one and my old staff-monk had 9 levels of DW, but that was taken out of pure desperation - as there were no staffs with elemental damage available back then.

Neither dragon warrior nore dragon slayer are particularly meta choices for STR martial types. There are too many other good classes to pick from. Or rather, a handful of good ones (and having at-least one/two of which is necessary to make your build competitive) to pick from, which each being important.
That said, this'll make dragon slayers a bit more fun for none martials at-least. Perhaps it'll even make them useful for martials.
