Revive!
So some question to the Techsmith players/testers out there:
1. Can Gondsman be summoned concurrently with a Thaumaturge Cohort?
2. How high do you need to pump crafting skills (Armour, Weapon, Alchemy) to get the best success when tinkering with your Gondie? Building with cleric seems such an awful drag on skills, making human+ + 16 Int almost a must for any Techsmith build worth their salt, unless, of course, you go wizard + juicy intelligence.

The Gondsman uses the animal companion slot, you can potentially have the gondsman, a cohort and a summon out.
Regarding the skills needed every upgrade to the gondsman is harder than the previous one, there are 13 upgrades maximum and the skill check is 2 * number of upgrades + 12 versus d20 + relevant skill
So for the 13th upgrade it's 38 versus d20 + relevant skill (it uses the skill score, not the base ranks).

Next update there will be a fix to the gondsman. Currently they are large, which implies a -1(2) AB and -1(2) AC penality.

That looks very solid, with the most staying power on a wizard build I've seen I think.

Only debating on whether to forgo the extra 1st, 5th and 9th level spell slots by dropping 2x Greater Int for Epic Gate & Epic Spell Focus Conjuration. Hmmmmmmmm......

If you use Deep Gnome, you get 11 in strength and worse charisma score. I would go with that. Of course that implies playing in the UD.
What is the casting level progression on Techsmith and Thaumaturge, regarding a wizard?
Is Lore: The Planes 8 still a requirement for thaumaturge, its in red in "Custom and New Classes"?
Might be I would change "Practiced Spellcaster" with "Craft Wand" if the progression is high enough. If not it's all right.
Too bad Augment Summoning doesn't work with the Gondsman construct.
And if I am counting it right, you can have 4 followers at the same time? Familiar, Gondsman (companion slot), Planar Cohort and Summon?

Techsmith & Theurge are both 100% CL progression, but my build has a 3 level rogue splash for Trapfinding (without which it could not detect or disable traps with a DC greater than 20). I'd rather 30 CL. The build could very easily be made as human for +1 feat (craft wand?) and +1 skill point per level .
And yes, it would be 4, but who has their familiar summoned during any kind of adventure?

so the basical unbuffed stats of the final 23hd small size gondsman should be
str13 dex14 con14 int4 wis13 cha6
hp 320
bab 17
ab 19
ac 23
srtill 13 upgrates left so you can rise it's str up to 26, or make it 30bab with 6 attack per round, or do something else. is this correct?

Wait, so upgrades aren't just one click and done? What happens if you fail an upgrade check? You lose that upgrade?

So I am able to get into Techsmith and trying to figure out, how I should proceed? Knowing the gondsman cannot solo high end content, what are the more successful of builds out there in leveling the construct?
High BAB, high str, high ac, etc.
Plus the weapon you can equip it, does it matter, or can the gondsman equip even exotic weapons?

Edit. When you equip a weapon, it doesn't seem to show on the gondsman or his stats, but the flavor text states it is equipped, but I can equip the weapon myself. Thoughts?
Nevermind. Unsummon and bring it back and all is well. but I can still use the weapon my PC that the Gondsman is using. Bug? feature? exploit?

And don't forget to take the weapon back or it will be base value of 0 and you can't give it to the gondsman anymore.
