Would it be possible/overpowered to have it grant +1 AB to party members but not the PC with the feat? Similar to how the Natural Leader background feat works for saves but without the self-debuff?

This seems reasonable to me.
Also, does the current system factor a -2AC for flanking already? If so, perhaps this feat could increase the flanking bonus to -3?
Or, make it a bonus to party members with sneak attack dice only? Otherwise, I could see it working like the rogues positioning feat, but for other party members, not the feat holder. In this way, it's the main fighter occupying the targets attention, or directing other party members to allow others to strike.

If you want to make it useful, make it simple +1 AB bonus but with some extra prerequisites - for instance, 13+ INT score (alongside original DEX requirement).
