It sounds like the KoS part of the rules is getting abused a lot lately. And as usual the rules are tailor-fitted for drow characters and all other UD races are crammed to fit to it. If they're supposed to represent the sense of danger and hostility that surface races would show. It really shouldn't apply to svirfs. As the hyperbole example and the one I care about

But yeah I have a bias for gnomes I have a taste for gnomes, not because I love them, love is the absence of judgment and I have judged gnomes, thoroughly. The little guys, the minor roles in the story, the ugly ones. The Forgotten folk. Gnomes may be forgotten, but we're there.

They are so much more interesting than humans, everything a human can be as a character is enhanced on a gnome. Thousand fold. Yeah you can pull items from a high shelf the comic relief card but there's an aspect of gnomes that lies completely unexplored, everything else.

Why play the traditionalistic strictly sourcebook-based perfection-aspiring supposedly-rare actually-everywhere-and-as-common-as-ERPers-in-BGTSCC decadent elf when you have gnomes with little to non existent lore, we all know FR lore has historically been contradictory and mediocre at best, to the extent that most hardcore dnd players here consider most of the more successful FR novel books in a brutal infringement of what DnD is, with gnomes you get to chart that map, with elves you're basically playing a post-apocalyptic survival game where the Non-telquessir are zombies trying to eat your tiny little sleep-deprived brains. That sounds like fun right? For five minutes anyway.

Gnomes are the essence of what's right in BGTSCC, they can be anyone and do anything even if to outsiders they fit in a very narrow box of medium non-adult RP.
We've got flaws and we're given a hard time for it, but guess what, hard times breed hard gnomes and that's the story of our 2 constitution bonus.

So yeah, I'm not biased, I just have good taste, what do you have?

Two facts. Consider them fun or not.

First:

Drow have pitch black skin.
Moon elves can have a shade of blue, that by default, on the default elf face, looks greyish/blue.
Moon elves can have stark white hair.
Moon elves are smaller frame than humans.

Second:

Endeylon/Lucy has allowed a number of people to play Warhammer esque characters by making their width/height larger than normal.

But she has also allowed people to play smaller than normal characters, too!

Conclusion:

Not everything is a drow that has "dark skin" (seriously, drow have black skin, not grey/blue. This is not the Elder Scrolls with their dunmer), or white hair (moon elf, aasimar), or small build.

Don't go happy hour PvP rampage after seeing someone is smaller than normal. I dare say, with the limited range of in game appearances and the fact that drow are incredibly rare, and that there is supposed to be many more NPCs than PCs... I have to ask if you go about murdicating young humans/humans from kozakura/shou long etc.
