The Wide in BG has an epic merchant. I think he sells that shield and an elic sling.

Slings are also sold in Gulkyn.

Playing this character and LOVING IT. This build rocks. (Pun intended.)

Still can't find that +Charisma and +Extra Turning item. Anyone know where it is, or what it is?

Or is it the shield that was mentioned earlier?

I think you're looking for "Emerald Boots", which are available in the Wide in BG - has 3 Dodge AC, 3 Charisma and Extra Turning.

fighter4/paladin26 with EDM and Brutal Throw. Should be more than fine.

Could even go pure strength on that, and skip the EDM (and thus get more dex for manyshot). Paladin gets nice strength buffs.

The charisma-focused build has been perfectly fun already as it is, actually. Level 15 and now I'm consistently putting out 50+ damage manyshots with just normal self-buffs, and critting for 75-80+. Enlarge Person potions make the damage better; bard songs BETTER better; and soon enough I hope to be spitting out Blessing of the Righteous like nobody's business for another +1d4 damage per shot.

All I need now is to find an alchemist to pump potions out of. Enlarge Person x100, please!

Can paladins even use ranged weapons? Isn't that against the code as an unhonorable weapon?

It is odd, since Paladins are the knights in shining armor, but a Paladin can use a ranged weapon.
