News has spread that a Red Wizard calling himself Safazar has begun to stir things within the Baldur’s Gate enclave. He had not been in the city for too long, but had already ascended in rank. Some claim he rose through the ranks with unusual speed, too quickly for comfort, and that his ambition knows no end.

The Red Tower of the Thayan enclave seemed busier than usual. Red Wizards came and went with unusual frequency, yet whatever business drew them and whatever was discussed within remained shrouded in secrecy.
