Flame weapon

From the druid spellbook applies to your character.

This is also why you can cast it before shifting and it still applies to the dmg.

Hence why druid frost and flame weapon are exceptionel to the same spell in the arcane spellbook

Guess you would need a lot of disguise to keep your shifted form a secret
Or just don't shift into things publicly, and hey, another use for heavy investment in Disguise skill on an EDM build.

In stock NWN2, it doesn't, it quite literally adds the +1d8 Fire Damage to weapon you hold, and fails if you lack a weapon. If you switch a weapon, the fire damage does not transfer to the new weapon.

Thus, it seems that BGTSCC has made some kind of a custom change to this spell. I cannot quite test it myself as of yet.

I have the exact and truthful idea, but with each iteration of your return to these Forums, your reading comprehension diminishes.

So, to repeat what was said by yours truly earlier in this thread, Flame Weapon effects Unarmed PCs, and Unarmed Feats or the condition of being Unarmed, transfers to or as Creature Weapon upon shifting.

To give some clarifications:

1) Temporary weapon buffs should not carry over to the form. It doesn't already in case of wielded weapons, I forgot to put the same condition for gloves but will be done so.
2) Flame weapon works differently for druids/shamans and UMD-ers. The former ones get a character buff, that means the damage sticks to any attack in any form. The latter apply the buff to the weapon.

Best advice I wish I knew:

You can keybind the default action, which means you can use your keyboard to attack instead of clicking on a target when shapechanged !

A question about the point two: does that mean that Spirit Shaman/Druid can get the 1d8 elemental damage from Flame/Frost weapon on a ranger weapon?

And when it comes to a Druid Shifter, will the Flame/Frost Weapon apply in shifter forms?

I do not have the characters to RCR in order to test it out, because there is a lot of ways it might not work, depending on how it is implemented.

I finally got around to have a character that can actually cast it, and yes, it does apply the effect to your character. However, there is a script in place that removes the effect from any Ranged weapon, such as a bow or a dart. The effect gets applied to the ranged weapon as well, until some script fires a split second later and removes it. In other words, you can see it flash in your character sheet.
