Removal of the arbitrary Dodge AC cap has been a discussion now that they know how to do it. What would be the issue with this? More AC is better.

Unlimited numbers all over server meaning all npcs must go up in numbers meaning avarage builds will have harder time to catch on npcs or otherwise npcs will become just mere trivial obstacle in front of chest....AgentOrange wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 8:00 pm Removal of the arbitrary Dodge AC cap has been a discussion now that they know how to do it. That said, it warrants mentioning that the cap is probably not the right fix. The problem exists, and the cap fixes it, but there are better ways of fixing it, IMO.JIŘÍ wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 7:32 amUnlimited numbers all over server meaning all npcs must go up in numbers meaning avarage builds will have harder time to catch on npcs or otherwise npcs will become just mere trivial obstacle in front of chest....AgentOrange wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 8:00 pm Removal of the arbitrary Dodge AC cap has been a discussion now that they know how to do it. We're all ready down this rabbit hole and out the other side. Divine Might and Divine Shield are two of the very few on-use abilities that haven't been changed to Free Actions; at this point, it would be bringing them more in line with where combat mechanics have gone for pretty much everything else.If we start going down this rabbit hole, then most feats granting an on-use ability designed primarily for combat should become Free Actions too for the same reason.
Why would NPCs go up in numbers? The announced PvE changes endeavor to tone the PvE content down, not up.JIŘÍ wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 7:32 amUnlimited numbers all over server meaning all npcs must go up in numbers meaning avarage builds will have harder time to catch on npcs or otherwise npcs will become just mere trivial obstacle in front of chest....AgentOrange wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 8:00 pm Removal of the arbitrary Dodge AC cap has been a discussion now that they know how to do it. +1 Add Fiery Fists and All-Out Assault to the "please make a free action" pile.ValerieJean wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 3:06 pm+1RedLancer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 10:52 amWe're all ready down this rabbit hole and out the other side. The Shield spell is a shield enhancement bonus that doesn't require the wearing of a shield.
