The Emerald Archer
A lone archer clad in greens with a magnificent beard is seen walking past the market and towards the ruined Darius Estate. Winding his way through peddlers and shoppers with that almost cocky swagger in his confident stride he sits on a pile of debris and reaches for his flask attached to his sword belt. He looks around for a moment taking in the endless ambient noise of the city. And brings the leather clad pewter flask and bites down on the cork top, pulling it off then letting it drop on it’s chain. And he brings up the flask to his lips taking a drink.

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate
A half dozen clerics of various goodly gods of the Order of the Radiant Heart are assembled by the Grand Knight. Later they are seen leaving the Keep in the farms and making for the city. There they report in to Captain Samuel of the Flaming Fist for further instructions and placement.

Fliers begin to pop up throughout the Gate, first starting in the Docks, then into the East Gate and finally the palace district. Fliers are run out to the farms as well after a time.
The Halls of Inner Light invite any whom experience hardship from the storm and find their foodstocks low and unable to replenish them. We have put together and stocked up on various food stuffs that we have been packaging as a Food Ration. As we are still making them, we are willing to donate a weeks worth of food for a family of four, to anyone in need. Please come see us at the Halls in your time of need.

Crates could be picked up at the Halls of Inner Light, containing 15 pre packaged Adult and Child daily meals, at no cost to the families in need. Those living in the palace district looking more well off in terms of coin would be asked to donate to the temple to off set the costs to the Halls, but would not be a requirement.

A deluge of rain would fall from the sky that would eventually turn into a hail the size of walnuts and only grew bigger.
Guards would tell everyone to stay indoors to get away from it, sadly many civilian and adventurers alike were injured.
Crops destroyed animals killed...How this would affect the food production and day to day of Baldur's gate is yet to be seen.
the local populus has been experiencing due to the demons that have been threating the city.
A large increase of fist presence could be noticed around the city, this extending to the farmland and in specific the Radiant Heart Chapter house.

One FINAL note is sent..which would be put up on the Tax Office. During the "hub-bub" of the displays. The distraction. The note reads simply:
The greatest Sin is Silence.
There, unto...
..the Greatest of all Devils...
...is the one who must hold your tongue. The Censor...
..to prevent you from revealing his secrets.
And I. Shall not. Be. Silent.
For the Sound of Silence...
is the Wail. Of the Damned.

A shabbily dressed halfling, donning a bright red crop of hair, runs past the tax station with a sickly looking mackerel clutched in his hands. Upon seeing the notice fluttering nearby, he promptly snatches the fine looking parchment and hastily wraps his festering fillet in it, then begins to waggle it at any passersby's with a shrill, "Oi, wanna buy a tuna!?"

At the campfire a woman many would identify as Solaris Cult (who is quite possibly clinically insane) would be witnessed serenading her "Nathan-poo" to a selection she would entitle ...Wonderwall.

A suspicious company has entered the Thayan Enclave, invited by magus Dnaera Ozkam. One can only guess what was transpiring inside. Upon leaving, one of the persons, who could be identified as Zamari, caretaker of the Broken God temple, was looking lost, detached from reality, but very content.

Later on, the same caretaker was seen traveling to the graveyard with the notorious elf known as Oth. Nobody saw what happened, but in the end Oth was leading Zamari out by her shaking hand. She was bewildered, confused, looking like a walking doll.

Who knows if there is connection between these rumors?

Many would flock to the halls in search of food rations and praise the efforts of the Sunites for helping the city in its time of need. Though there would still be many hungry mouths to feed that wouldn't get food in the city and even more that lived outside the city in the surrounding area.Anrilor wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 11:07 am Fliers begin to pop up throughout the Gate, first starting in the Docks, then into the East Gate and finally the palace district. Many wagons bearing the symbol of the Zhentarim arrived to Baldur's Gate thorugh the north, many staying in the farms outside the walls. They remained in place for a few hours, watched by a few men in black, seemingly waiting for someone or something.DM Spectrum wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 12:34 pm Though there would still be many hungry mouths to feed that wouldn't get food in the city and even more that lived outside the city in the surrounding area.

During the following two days, the men would start to spread the word that the Zhentarim are helping out the city with grain, specifically referring to harsh ice and snow that the farmlands have endured
"We are here to bring you help and aid, farmer, we bring you relief of food, so that you can put your gold to work, and make your economy stronger, your mills will be busy, and your stomach filled, get to work and make more gold, so that in the next winter, if the crops die again, you will be able to make by easily."
The zhents converse with the farmers as they deliver the grain.

Letters can be seen tacked up on minimalist parchment.
The Green Enclave will be hosting a celebration of the Spring Equinox at the shrine of Mielikki between the Lion's Way and Beregost. The celebrations will start at mid-day. ((20th @ 7pm GMT / 3pm EST / 2pm CST))
All are welcome to attend. No unblessed fire will be permitted.
Food and drink will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.

A blonde woman with a white and red armor sporting a coat of arms with a red rose on it is seen feeding a carrot to a gentle donkey near Mercy's Orphanage, brushing it's hair and spending a couple of hours there before departing.

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate
A rumor reaches the streets of Baldur's Gate from the city of Berdusk. It makes its way to the ears of Martin “The Mouth” Mosby and from there to anyone that would listen for the next few days...
“Didja 'ear? Me cousin outta Berdusk said'e was at a tavern... What did'e call it again... The Blushing Barmaid. Yeah, that be tha one! He told me tha silver 'aired bard what played at the Lyre and the square got 'erself killed.”
He nods a few times letting that soak in.
“I guess'a fight broke out inda taproom and the fool lass tried'ta stop it. Leap from tha stage and tried to pull them apart. Caught a bottle to'er throat. Ripped it clean out, it did. She died right there on the floor., try'n ta 'old in what life was spillin out.”
He shakes his head a few times holding it low.
“The owners of'da tavern sent for 'ealers and such. Three of em, from what I was told. She wouldn't come back. One of the owners, an old lady kept sayin, “She must have finally got'er wings.” Whatever the Hells that means."
The man shrugs.
“Won't be 'ear'n that lass again.”

In the shadowed places, word spreads of work for the resourceful. Those who collect secrets can retell them for coin, and the Thayan Enclave is willing to pay.

The short grey-skinned tiefling with hair, white as pure snow from the Cloudpeak mountains, nervously enters into the Halls of Inner Light. She carries a book on religion. She spends several hours discussing religion with one of the Priestess, seeming to be confused at times and skeptical at other times as she asks numerous questions, often referring to the book.
