Re: Formal Letters to the Dukes of Baldurs Gate
Kervel appears in Duchal Palace. He enters the grand palace with humble gestures. He approaches Quincy by the palace reception and hands him a sealed letter. It is closed by wax seal of both symbols of Chauntean faith and Heraldy of House Vale. It is addressed to Grand Duke Liia Jannath. The old priest then makes his way out of the palace and into the rural area of Baldur's Gate.

Re: Formal Letters to the Dukes of Baldurs Gate
A carrier enters the grand palace, approaching the receptionist, Quincy, and presents him with a closed letter that bears a distinct seal - a stylized "Z" - the marking of the Zhentarim.
"For the dukes, from the Lord Regent - Zerros Ozmir of the Darkhold."
He placed the letter down onto the table in front of him, with a small smile forming on the carrier's lips.
"It is not a request."
With a nod, he simply turns away, walking out of the palace.

Re: Formal Letters to the Dukes of Baldurs Gate
To:
Bloodhawk Leadership Council
Order of the Red Falcon
Dukes of the Baldurs Gate
Petition for Authorization of Falcon’s Wing Auxiliary Chapter to the Red Falcons
In service to the Red Knight, I - Ignatius Lyonhelm, Oathsworn into the Order of the Red Falcon and Paladin of the Red Knight submit this formal request for permission to establish an auxiliary formation under my command, to be designated Falcon’s Wing.
Proposed auxiliary shall function as a flexible unit, intended to serve as deployable force consisting of trained military representatives from non-paladin supporters. Recent campaigns and contracted operations have shown gaps in defensive capability of the Bloodhawk Manor. Additionally, the auxiliary could support the Order in reconnaissance, limited-scale operations requiring discretion, protection of strategic locations and individuals or operations that require flexibility and initiative under stress.
Falcon's Wing would work in alignment with Red Knight doctrine while remaining light, mobile and self-organized. I do not request support beyond authorization itself. The auxiliary will rely on personal resources, spoils lawfully claimed in service, profit from possible future contracts and assets explicitly assigned by command if and when deemed appropriate.
Our numbers are to be deliberately low, prioritizing quality over quantity and planning for slow growth. Recruitment shall be conducted with approval of oathsworn Paladin, with appropriate guidance, training and in accordance with Red Falcon standards.
Falcon’s Wing will follow the laws, operate in accordance to the strategic teachings of the Red Knight and act in service of order. We will be responding with appropriate force to preserve the life where strategy allows.
This petition is submitted not in pursuit of personal elevation, but from strategic necessity and foresight. A blade unused is wasted, a blade unshaped is dangerous. Falcon’s Wing is proposed to be alternative to recent aggressive recruitment practices of Zhentarim. We aim to become a purpose made for those who'd see through their false boasts and other ill practices.
To ensure cooperation in interest of the Baldurs Gate City I further request authorization from the Dukes. Falcon's Wing would like to preserve the Order's standing within the Gate and to ensure our actions are transparent. Bloodhawk Fort had a beneficent influence to stability of the region and with auxiliary we aim to bring that stability back as soon as possible while fortifications are rebuilt.
I stand ready to answer any inquiries, submit to evaluation, or accept conditions imposed by the Council.

Re: Formal Letters to the Dukes of Baldurs Gate
A red haired elven woman approached at the dukes palace. She was wearing a simple dress, in various shades of brown.
The medal, from the last two ceremonys regarding Ulgoths Beard was the only shining part of her appearence.
She gave a sealed letter to someone at the palace. She looked at bit shy, while doing so.
The greenish wax-seal showed a squirrel in praying position.

Honoured Dukes of Baldurs Gate,
my following words are regarding Ulgoths Beard:
I’m only a single elf. A single faithfull of Rillifane Rallathil.
Druid and novize of the Oakhearts.
In a humble way, I want to ask for your permission for continue my research at Ulgoths Beard.
And the permission of setting my foot on the ground of this area. Together with guards, if needed.
My goal is still to heal this place and bring it back to the harmony of nature.
It's not important to me, what will happen with the place after the healing.
There is only the feeling of need, to see the place blooming again.
Over the time, I had done my studies on the area mostly in the second row.
Many factions and people had put their efforts in. I honour their efforts and didn’t want to put me in the front.
But I had made the experience, that a single elf without proper contacts is quickly forgotten or ignored.
That’s because I’m writing this letter directly to you.
My studies were focused on the abyssal “plantlife” and how it had interacted with our realm.
I had worked together with other researchers, like Niyressa, Ferrick and Laei.
The goal was to find a solution of cleansing the area and finding ways for fighting the abyssal incursion of these false “plants”.
And getting rid off the taint. Therfore I had also studied the flora and fauna of heavens, so far I was able to finding hints about it in books.
My ways brought me to Candlekeep, where I was allowed to continue my studies at the inner library for finding deeper understanding about,
what’s going on in Ulgoths Beard and how we could reach the goal of healing the place.
The Guide Uranhed Jandinwed had led me on paths through the maze of knowledge and had also contributed his own view and thoughts about it.
At the ritual of “Hallow” I could not put my gained knowledge into account, but maybe now is the time to make use of it.
After the battle is done, the time of scholars and faith has come.
At least, I hope so.
Let me continue my efforts for healing the place and paving the way for regrowth.
Ulgoths Beard will bloom again.
For the harmony of nature.
For a new hope.

Re: Formal Letters to the Dukes of Baldurs Gate
In the morning of Nightal 27th, The Palace Receptionist, Quincy, is met with an old familiar face. The Eldathyn druid Runa, former member and High Lady of the Halls of Inner Light, and current High Druid of the Green Enclave, drops by to deliver a letter addressed to Grand Duke Liia Jannath. The specific contents of the letter are for the Duke's eyes only, but it might very well be about her request to the Court during the Reward Ceremony after the cleansing of Ulgoth's Beard.
