With the RCR period ending soon, can someone staff-side comment on whether these changes are finalized, or still being discussed? As-is Northlander Hewing seems to have potential for bludgeoning, but not worth taking in its current state (in my opinion) without scaled or improved DCs. If it is to remain as-is I will RCR it back out before the period ends.

It has been since around a month or two now! I've been doing some bugfixes on it, but it's working and working well right now.

10 + half of your Cleric/Paladin/Blackguard Caster Level + Charisma Modifier.

Not at all. Improved and Empowered turning are feats specifically for Turn Undead and they remain as such.

Yep, i second that. Otherwise i understamd why so few poeple play high level bards at the moment. It makes the bard uninteresting and pretty much useless.

is a statement I agree with, the heal is STILL very powerful. My bard could hit 200 points of healing per person per song. . .So it's not a insta heal, but it makes for a amazing augment heal, to patch up the party.

Oh boy some thread necromancy.
The bard nerf to requiem healing was rough, bards are however still viable. Just like favoured souls are still viable if built correctly the nerfs just force narrower and narrower builds and play styles to eek out performance from the class.

I'm gonna dust this off and ask the question here, rumor mill had it that this class would open up to FvS at some point. Just curious if this would be so, or if additional balance considerations would need to be put into place?

This change isn't here yet but is indeed in the pipeline.
