Rasael seemed to indicate it was pieced together from sources, in a post he's made:

"The text is drawn from a collection of class background snippets and source books. But apart from that the D&D lore is vague at best and leaves the topic to the DM's imagination."

If the Thayan bits are not inspired by any actual lore, then those should be removed from it, IMO.

There's a lot of stuff done wrong with that prc, honestly. Like the instant evil shift, turning Bloodseeking Spell into a second source of increased CL instead of just an extra 1d6 damage like in pnp, and having half of its feat tax removed (it's supposed to require Great Fortitude too, not just Toughness).

33+ spell level Necromancy DCs (42 Wail)
Lots of spell slots
~43 AC with CE
Quicken Spell
Vamp Feast

I think it would be stronger if you go for PM instead of BM though. You do lose quite a bit of CLs but you get so much back from the spellpower feats that all the PM goodies are very much worth it imo

Edit: That build is actually 33+ spell level nec DCs, my bad.

I do not think that is relevant for DC necro.

Anyone else, full build suggestion, knowing that BM can be used?
