I knew about it, too. Went to the gnoll cave, was warned about the rollback and said to myself. "Well! I'm not in it for the loot, I'm all 'bout that roleplay! All 'bout that roleplay, no trouble!" And found something valuable. Deep-seated greed is in the heart of every adventurer.

FWIW, since others are asking in the Server-Offline thread, the PC Vault Rollback will not happen until after the XP problem is resolved.

Set it to the directory you want, include files *.nss, and query type in what you want to search. It is most likely an include file, so you can search for iXPMax.

And those of us who choose to RCR just two days ago and logged in before the vault back up today but after April 7th, is there a plan for this?

As far as I am aware, Duster initiated a Vault Backup on the 15th, not long after the XP problem was discovered. It should not affect characters before that date unless for some reason Duster feels the need to revert to an even earlier Vault Backup (7th).

I may have overreacted a little, though, because a vault restore should revert everyone's vaults to the status on the listed date (either 15th or the 7th April). I still do not advise players to toy around with RCRs in the meantime.

If we don't all get rolled back together, couldn't that open a door for item duping exploitation (characters getting rolled back passing items/gold on to those not reverting).

That argument again.

The server is very likely to have an open infinite gold exploit, and most likely there will at least one way to dupe the items even through the full vault rollback.

The staff can PM me for details, if they feel like it.

Either way, I'm saying there's little incentive to play if all progress is gonna be scrapped at some unknown point in future. If you guys gonna rollback, do it now.

In the nexus there is a big King Nasher with a sign that says "read me first" in front of Mystra and Shaundakul. The rollback will happen once the bug is figured out and straightened out.
