I suspect we'll dabble in them all."

"But it does resemble some of my own vision concerning the future," the woman nodded before looking to Morgan. "I've heard rumors about it from two different sources as well, but I've found little truth in them so far. Have ye had better luck?"

"And yet this'll differ from the times before," Mag's attention returned to the two wizards. "I suggest we get ready and ye prey to yer gods the outsiders don't come full force."
Leramak wrote: "Mags with your permission i would like place traps and pit falls outside of the town in preparation for our defence And perhaps take a token force to the bridge and set up a front line defence to give the town more time to prepare." She looks to kordren with a look of seriousness

As the man ask the question the hin takes a moment to take a seat on the other side of the booth the man is sitting at. She folds one leg over another while untie-ing a pouch enclosed with some rope from her sash and setting it on the table allowing it to jingle of coin and content.

"That answer your question?"

The hin rummages in her bag some, soon finding a small glass canteen filled with a clear red liquid content. She opens the canteen soon enough enjoying it's pleasures while allowing the man to count the coin in the pouch which would be about 5000 gold worth.

Mists roiled and formed in a sickly, pallid fog across the Winding Way River. The edges of which had been rumored sighted to be as close as the Boareskyr Bridge. Across the way, men and women in dark garb went to work. Any other folk dressed, and armed, in dark and drab colors might easily be mistaken for brigands, or bandits. But these men and women all bore one unifying symbol, black badges of dark metal, a black sword point down over a dark circle.

Tents are drawn up, the same sigil sewn onto their sides. Tents for sleeping troops, another for wounded, future or present, and others for command meetings and supplying food to the troops. Boxes of supplies, foodstuffs, and implements of battle have begun to be moved in a supply line.

With nearly half of the Charlie Company under Sergeant Chester committed to the Winding Way frontline, the Alpha and Bastard Companies have been recalled home. Each company split between guarding the Boareskyr Bridge and Soubar.

Under the orders of Captain Greil Nightgale, the Ebon Blade company has begun its preparations to defend its home. Sergeant Dunn and his Bastard Company are making their stand on the bridge.

Back in Soubar, other preparations are underway. Alpha Company’s men and women are setting about the keep, keeping tracks of supplies as they are sorted, counted, and moved. Inspecting the keep grounds for signs of wear, and enacting any needed repairs. Preparation drills are practiced and most of the sellswords are working double shifts on watch or at training. All of this is accompanied by a steady flow of personnel – those heading to the front, those preparing for the bridge defenses, and those maintaining the home of the Ebon Blade company.

A man with a permanent smile can be seen around the walls of Soubar, talking to the workers and giving them refreshments and asking them "if they need anything" every so often, the man clad in a white and shiny mithral full plate walks proudly flashing an ebon blade badge while wearing a Conquistador helmet.

When he is not around the walls, he is either at the ebon blade fort or at Boaresky Bridge, standing guard with other members that can be identified as ebon blades.

Not long after, an armored man would make his way to the bar. He would offer a nod to Mags and then to Morgan. "Greetings. Can I get a double shot of Wyvern." he slides some coin across the bar to Mags and awaits his drink.

A tall, cleanly bald man, with aquiline nose and graying beard -carrying an impressive staff and dressed in a shirt of mithral with black fur cloak - is seen entering the Bladehold. Hours pass and he does not exit.

Some long time residents of Soubar may recognize him as a former magus of the Ebon Blade, not seen for many moons.

It began with a routine task.

A woman was made to see a trio of Donkeys to the road just outside of Soubar. Staging for a somewhat larger supply train going to the Bridge. That is when the cluster began. A Blade and pair of workers were looking over the supplies, jumbling over reports and looking through two different books to mark off what it was and where it should be.

She snatched the books and papers from the workers, muttering and screaming her head off to get their organization and orders back to something sensible. Shouts of consolidation, coupled with naming each of the animals Zeland one, two, and three, were followed with the grumbles of the men and, apparently, compliance.

Though not as heated, similar exchanges began around Soubar and the Keep. The woman was adamant to take control of ongoing matters of supply, and demanded that runners be sent to the keep with updates of current stocks, numbers, and movement. This shake-up took the better part of three candlemarks before one might find the blade a few levels up in the keep, having taken over a corner of the Lab. Desks were pulled together, papers and books stacked, quills and inkpots scattered, a few tankards seated precariously on the edge.

The frazzled woman’s eyes darted between open books, scattered pages, and the paper on which she wrote. Items were consolidated, entries were revised, schedules were thrown out. Stock checks were ordered, and spot checks of those right after. Window pulled open to a crack, the would be supply chief smoked from a pipe, drank from multiple tankards of ale and water, cursed incorrect numbers, assumptions, Faerun at large – and over the candlemarks of that day and into the late eve resolved many of the troubles that were faced with the rapid deployment of supply stuffs. Everything – from the minor such as tent stakes to the major of spell scrolls and potions – was cataloged and had a time and place to be where it would help most.

Of course, to those on the field, such a tale was fine to be heard – until it was revealed who this woman causing a shake-up was – Blade Mara Irisko. The Bitch Wolf.

Well as it turned out this was not the only complaint that day. A rare caravan paused at Soubar had it's share of grumbling groaners and not without good reason. Kin of theirs buried many years ago were among other graves by the town disturbed and many old remains removed. There appeared no one useful to complain to and the rumour grew and their prices rose. The hin formally known as "The Collector" and the lich known as Morgan Bluerose mostly got the blame, but this was Soubar and there were plenty to choose from. The caravan moved on, papers blew in the wind, and then like many things in Soubar no one seemed to care and things moved on.

The halfing known as Zeke Slywit is seen carrying various crates of scrolls and potions to the camp near Boar's bridge, this seems to be an ongoing task which he does in intervals. When he's not carrying equipment to the camp, he can be seen checking the surrondings for advantageous positions for archers and other ranged military to fight from, mostly high grounds and such. Additionally, he also be seen marking various locations for teleportation. When on guard duty he is seen talking into an amulet, those with good ears might hear him getting reports from the southern front.
